this is a lose -lose situation. milestone events like ufc 100 is supposed to have the top fights fans want to see and one of those seems to be conor and diaz, provided both guys are healthy. Conor made a huge mistake and continues to with his statements of retirement and tweets. UFC has clearly won this power struggle, hence conor unretiring and asking to be on the card. Now it's about emotion and ego on both sides and no longer about business.

this lose -lose situation is bad for the long term relationship on both sides and Conor is going to look to leave at some point as a result of this. maybe he would have anyways but the relationship will be damaged and thats not good for anyone.

make the fight and move on at this point, the fans want to see it and that should supercede the egos involved.

It's not a lose-lose situation. It is a lose .... NEXT situation.

it's lose lose and it's bad for their future dealings, very bad management on both sides. Conor and his coach Kavanaugh, has been a disaster, and the coach needs to stop talking. what a train wreck ..

Tell the Casino owning mobsters to put their dicks away.

You need to take a deep breath.

And hold it.

Keeeeep holding it....

youre so witty, wow. think of that all by yourself?
Says the guy with the lowest possible level of comeback...ugh...

Please don't respond to me. Or if you do, don't quote me.

Just stop with this shit. He didn't do his job. End of story.

The UFC are not in the wrong. The are the bosses say whatever they want to their employees. If a fighter goes against it, he's in the wrong especially knowing the rules and regulations.

Unless you're Conor McNutless.

Oh I disagree one hundred percent. This is a win win situation for me. Whenever the biggest egos clash you get some of the best drama. Ower vs. star employer? ME GUSTA MUCHO! Look at the popcorn in the past 2 weeks. Glorious!

I hope Lorenzo and Frank tell McGregor "no motherf**ker you jump for us, or we ice you until 2017", and I hope in return Conor escalates this to the next level, shits all over everyone at UFC and Reebok, goes on GMA to tell the story of Feritta secret orgy party, rallies the country of Ireland and all Irish people to boycott UFC and Reebok, and in turn Lorenzo and Frank use the contract to lawyer the shit out of Conor.

Exactly, totally agreed with you.

Zuffa is going to lose sales without Conor on the card, but they know this is the way to hold the bulls by the horn. They do this as an example to never cross them again. The way they handle this shit, Conor is making a fool of himself by his own....

i agree this is getting way to stupid now and both sides should talk and work it out. But as a conor fan i dont want him anywhere near nate until he wins a couple fights mabye defend belt then go fight dosanjos and if he gets through that a title fight with nate for mega $.

You couldn't sell the Rda fight now

UFC only needs to do one thing. They need to get in the cage, call Conor from the back and make it official in front of everyone

The UFC did take a deep breath, then exhaled in a relieved sigh that this landmark event will no longer be headlined by a fight that, in its proper context, is an absolute joke.

Diaz vs Conor II happens on 201, 202 whatever, it's still a joke fight, but at least it isn't part of an immortalized, historical event such that the joke will be brought up over and over and over in the future like the big fights of UFC-100 were.

Conor? Also exhaled, desperately thankful that, for now at least, he was no longer helplessly being choked by the superior fighter who lives rent free in his head and who made Conor his pet in a sonning witnessed by millions.
