The Chinese should just buy out the only stars UFC have under contract and start a new org. 4billion ? Lol

Nunes as champ and no Jones brings the value down to around 2 billion

But Cain is back and a potential Brock vs heavyweight champ fight, Aldo vs MCGregor in the future... Gives it value.
However, it all depends on Fight Night 90, Tuf 23 Finale, and more importantly, UFC 200 PPV numbers.

They will work hard to cultivate new and old superstars. They will try to get Ronda back and persuade her to spend some time at Kings MMA. They will - after a decent interval - bring back Jones. They will try to milk Brock for all he's worth. Weidman may make a comeback. They still have Conor. The Chinese play a very long game and are not likely to be influenced by transitory factors. My guess is that the Chinese aren't taking over but are making an "investment" that will facilitate more international expansion with continued control by Dana and Co.

yeah fuck that. i would rather buy a taco right now.

The whole offer to buy was just a prank. 4 billion for a fucking dvd collection, lol.

Sure. Record gate, record attendance and most likely 1M PPV.

They would have to hate money to refuse to buy!

Sadly, that is your only option as it is with 99% of Sherdog's business school class of 2016.
actually i do pretty well for myself, enough so that i can buy your mom a taco as well.

No way is it worth 4 billion. 1 -2 billion maybe. They have 3-4 people who can sell decent PPV. 2 of them dont even fight and 1 is a part time ufc full time wwe wrestler. Then you have conor.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese overpayed for the UFC. It's a global phenomenon with them buying up global assets and significantly overpaying for everything!

I wonder where the Chinese are getting all their doe? They seem to be literally Buying up most of the world. They are buying real estate and businesses like mad!
Plus it is very common that they unnecessarily, significantly overpay for these assets. They are splashing their money around as though it's coming off printing presses.

I realize many Chinese corporations are filthy rich from the rest of the world using them to manufacture their stuff but what I am seeing and reading is that this is a global phenomenon going on with them beyond reason.

Think about it! You don't see an abundance of rich American companies or individuals making foolish investments and overpaying for real esate and assets just for the hell if it.

What's going on here?
