Glad Yan finally got that belt away from Merab, but I don’t see Yan successfully defending it.

I mean it's more than likely going to be Yan/Merab 3 I would say in April or May. I have more concern for Merab after this fight than Yan. Everybody knows to go to the body now on Merab and unless I am wrong your body doesn't get tougher in your 30's. Also by the time Merab fights again he will be the age people say fighters start declining....35.

Imo, think most rounds were a lot closer than people let on. Think people are pretty swayed by the damage on Merab's face.

Had it 4-1 Yan
Nah man, it’s not just the facial damage, almost every round had a moment where Merab was visibly hurt and on the back foot. Yan was never once in trouble. In fact, I can’t recall a single Merab strike. I know he threw and landed plenty, but they were so forgettable. Yan had all the memorable moments.

Merab massively outworked Yan without ever really getting over damaged besides that body kick. Which isn’t how fights are scored.

Like I said, if he won it would’ve been super controversial if Merab had gotten the decision, and Yan was the better fighter regardless of score cards.

Go cum in a sock for the 17th time today.
Outworking your opponent to no effect is not something to be lauded. It just means he struggled a lot.

Merab got rocked twice, plus a punch to the body had Merab screaming in pain and backing up. It wasn't just that body kick. What did Merab do? He landed a few good shots and tried takedowns all night, aside from that slam he got (which Yan got straight back up, btw), he couldn't do shit with his takedowns, in fact Yan took him down a few times instead.

What fight was you watching?

Cum in a sock? You're a strange fucker ain't ya?
Go by rounds now dude, not overall.

Like I said. Merab outworked Yan and Yan still looked to be the better fighter. Both are true. Yet you are still mad even when I saw I think Yan was better.

Sad!

Shit- I missed the card completely. Stupid married life!

So happy Merab lost though.

Yan fans are out of their minds but he did very well tonight. Him vs Umar should be interesting
Omalley committed 3 separate fouls in each round and the UFC uses a clip of the sequence he blatantly grabs the cage as part of his highlight reel...
They credited every single one of Omalleys strikes as significant including his reaching feints that touched Yan's guard.
The ref was Jason Herzog (of course) who missed multiple fouls.

Aljo 2 was decided on a single close round being the first. I gave it to Yan because Aljo was running backwards the whole time and Yan was landing bigger shots.
1,4,5 Yan.

Dude should have had a loss to Aljo via DQ and to Merab only.

Umar would be interesting but he needs another win first. No idea who else to give Yan though. I don't really want to watch a 3rd fight already.

Levels...

Coaching, fight IQ, discipline, focus.

Yan just like NEO saying "No."

Btw; anyone else see how Merab's corner was as just a bunch of yelling?

He should not of been grabbing the fence and they should of at least called it out. we know they were never taking a point, at least call it out like when others do it

they are only their to reflect the odds makers, thats it.

judging, referrees, only there to protect the odds.

far too much black money running through everything.

USE SPECIAL PROMO CODE FBI FOR 10% OFF ME UNDIES.
I laughed when they tried to argue Merab won the round he got slammed on his head from failed takedowns.

How can you credit mat returns when Yan literally slammed him on his head in the same round.

yan grabbed tonight as well, time is a flat circle man. Sean cracked yans eye and you could practically see skull in round 3 so that's at least 1 for Sean. Just stop calling it some farce of a fight, its weird. Anyway they will fight again now and Yan looked really good tonight
