UFC 315 PBP/Discussion

There was a bit in that 3rd round where Zahabi started dropping elbows where I thought Aldi might be done, looked semi out of it.

Sad he went out on a loss but an all time great, enjoy retirement you legend.

Manon ML closes a parlay.
Also have Manon under 1.5 takedowns.
Shev over 60.5 sig strikes (discount) closes a 4 leg on pp.

FINAL bet of the night 2 leg parlay
first FRENCH champ manon "expedition 33" fior + belal

manon has 92% tdd dont fuck that stat up now babygirl

Probably too many multi posts but Aldo in his prime was so scary. That WEC run was obviously like 10+ years ago but he was genuinely one of the scariest guys in MMA, a true pioneer for the introduction of the <155 divisions - him, Cruz and Barao in WEC were so high level.

Zahabi is one of these feel good stories in mma where unfortunately the only ones feeling good are his friends and family. But imagine in about twenty years he can be celebrated as a late bloomer he was.

I'm quite gutted he's as old as he is. I think it was 2018 or so when he finally got into the UFC, a couple of years after the (well deserved) TriStar hype with GSP. It felt for like 10 years Greg Jackson and TriStar were fighting for the best camps then the Zahabi brother seemed to get into UFC at an older age when that had died off a bit, I think it would have been really interesting if Aiemann either got got into the UFC earlier or was just more active once in, I think he's at under 10 fights in UFC despite nearly a decade with them - it's one of those what could have been careers.

Val is going to steamroll Manon, too fast , too clean.

Maybe Prime Val. She had a lot of sus moments on the feet vs Grasso in the first 2 fights, I wouldn't be super confident in her at this point.

Had a parlay with Manon.
Going BIG on Val now though.

Was going to bet Fiorot on this but she was a favourite when I just looked, think the odds have flipped since I last checked.

Love Shev but do hope Fiorot wins, feels like Shev has been on the cusp of the twilight of her career for a couple of years nowd so wouldn't mind a new champ who can put a good run together.

Probable broken nose though so might be too much still, Shev is so well rounded.

Grasso has faster hands than Manon, I remember times where Erin got her frozen and panicking against the cage

Val is still fast, i tested her framerate with a video app and she registers faster framerate in her strikes.

Shev 1-0
Manon looking slow and lost on the ground
EDIT: REALLY glad I went heavy on Shev. Hopefully she single handedly makes the night a big win for me.

Coinflip round.
2-0 Shev, or 1-1
