UFC 312 is $917 AUD for the nose bleeds….

UFC is run by the Elite, for the Elite
Modern day Coliseum.

That said, the tickets are worth $580usd and £475gbp because the aussie dollar is comparatively weak.

Also the UFC sells its tickets to tout websites that overcharge to guarantee its money... Its a super corrupt system that needs an overhaul.

After converting the currencies, yes it's sorta normal. 311 is about $500 USD for the nosebleeds, 312 is $571 USD for the nosebleeds

I could totally afford it but:
  1. My scam-o-meter still goes off, like $500 USD could buy so much other good stuff
  2. The nosebleeds might be a worse viewing experience than watching in a bar
  3. I like to vote with my wallet and I vote no on $500 nosebleeds
Just stream it at your house for free.

I'm considered a UFC apologist. This card is pretty horrendous. It needs at least 2 more biggish fights

So people are paying for a plane ticket hotel..
And then paying for a 800 dollar a ticket.. to sit in a plastic seat and watch it on a bigger TV . Cause the fighters look like ants in there. Sounds like the biggest rip off pretty sure it's better to just watch at home and spend that money on the bahamas

Typically humans go to shows that are near their hometown. So no, most don't pay for either a plane or hotel. The fighters don't look like ants, they look like people from a distance. I agree, it is better to watch from home, but experiencing an event at least once is a must for an MMA fan. Most ppl don't have a lot of disposal income, and will create a narrative on why they never went to one.

I guarantee a lot of cashed up bogans are flying 2-5 hours to Sydney because this is their one chance for the year to attend a live UFC event without flying to the other side of the world. And most Australians do have disposable income, which is why it's such a lucrative market for the UFC.

Unfortunately this hunger for any live UFC experience has resulted in Australia largely getting shit cards post-covid. There seems to be no urgency to put on a compelling show because people will cough up the cash regardless. Much like how the country is known for having the worst, and most expensive cocaine in the world!

It is crazy what people are willing to pay for the UFC today.

But in the end, if they are selling out or 90% capacity you really can't blame them for the pricing.

I paid 190 for Whittaker v Adesanya 1 I think, second tier level tickets but at Marvel so the cage was miles away.

But no it is not normal, fucking outrageous. We do get stitched up here for events in terms of what we pay, sports and music, we're a long way away I guess and it doesn't stop us going.
Bro same thing here in toronto, Nose bleeds for dricus vs strickland were like 650 bucks. Couldn't justify it.
