He has poor takedown defense and his striking was not that good. DC can gargle his balls all he wants about the kicks but they still did not do much short of some bruising on Silvas leg. Beating up cans in the mountains does not mean you are good.

Impressed with the judges! Laying on your opponent for an entire round and only throwing a strike every 30th second shouldn't award you the round. Shara was constantly throwing from his back and looking for damage.

I don't get the issue with the 30-27. Silva was on top, but I don't think his 'control' was effective as he was being outstruck despite being on top. If he was throwing while on top, you could give him R3, but he wasn't. He was riding out the round.
