If you think about it, we’ve watched enough fights to know some guys actually fight better nervous.

And some guys do way worse when they’re relaxed and confident.

I think Rockhold is one of those guys who fights better nervous. When he’s relaxed he makes foolish mistakes.

Very true and very good point. GSP always says that he is very nervous in every fight and he said he feels so nervous that sometimes he vomits before he goes out.. and then he performs excellent

The problem with being nervous is it can make you freeze up though and just stare, like for example Spivac looked so nervous last week, he froze up, he wasn't throwing anything, he was like a mannequin and just staring into space, it almost made the fight look fixed and a work because he didn't even fight back, it was bizarre, but I think he was very nervous and looked stressed and just was frozen the entire time.

afaik that first fight was between an irish person and a french person. so no oceanic represented at all in that one.
