I think meaning not certain that Pereira is far more sound technically than he lets on and just chooses to style on fighters he onows he can. He definitely will be more calculated in this fight

He is wild against who he can be. He definitely fights smarter against tougher comp

Ill admit he has shown an ability to fight smarter ...

But i dont think he can out technique WB.. so doing crazy stuff might be what works ...who has been able to out technique WB in a fight... Nobody really...he looked great recently too .. Holland fight and Neal fights really showed his level on the feet

This is probably going to be a very boring fight.

I’m not sure people have been watching Michel’s last 2-3 fights. He isn’t doing any of the stuff that made him the most entertaining mma fighter I’ve ever seen.

Literally zero in his last couple fights, I believe. Not a superman type punch off the cage. No spinning shit. No acrobatics.. Nothing at all. He scaled it down over about 3 fights. Down to zero.

He fights completely different now. That shit drained his gas tank too easily.

So you have tentative 40 year old WB. Fighting extremely measured Pereira (compared to just a few fights ago). And they are fighting at elevation in SLC.

I honestly expect and extremely boring fight. With Pereira doing slightly more to win a decision.

I think Wonderboy cruises, until he gets cracked and finished at some point in round 2 or 3. Pereira is gigantic, and incredibly explosive when he wants to be. Wonderboy is still great, but he's 40. The lightning quick reflexes that almost won him a title have diminished, and against a guy like Pereira I think it will cost him the fight.

Geoff Neal has very solid hands however he does get hit quite a bit. He has superior hands than prime Woodley however not the tentative counter punching of Woodley. Basically styles make fights and Wonderboy’s technical pressure is Neal’s kryptonite. Kevin Holland is a solid entertainer and ok fighter but should not be used to gaige Pereira whatsoever. Not even close to the same style. Holland is closer to a watered down WB than a Pereira. Basically styles make fights and nobody has a clue what a refined Pereira’s style will be when push comes to shove. All we onow for sure is he will probably have superior strength and athleticism. Anything else is pretty damn tough to speculate

WB's only ko loss to superman punch makes me nervous but can't help but think he has the skills to avoid danger & pull off a dec in what should be a fotn

Thats a brutal KO and Id imagine really hard to defend

It looked like he was winding up with his left but actually KO's him with his leading right arm.
