When you're told somebody's the Next Big Thing and should run through his opponent like a hot knife through butter and he...doesn't do it, then that sort of reaction is justified. Gordon would've finished him if he hadn't been bottom of the barrel cannon fodder.

Judging him harshly because he's a prospect. That was an impressive but somewhat flawed performance. Still though he subbed a bjj black belt in his eighth fight at 22 years old, in a fight he was winning 30-27

He fights like a guy who has been able to destroy everyone he has experience fighting… this was a perfect fight to get some adversity while still building confidence

Mokaev is still a beast

Just young, went a little too hard early (kinda like Khamzat does) and tired himself out a bit

He recovered and now gets the finish

This was a great experience for him

That’s two fights in a row where he struggled against low level comp. He better start improving quick because his current skill set isn’t going to cut it in the ufc.
