Kinda of a weak card which is strange considering the UFC want to cash in on Nate Diaz before he leaves and makes real money in boxing. I don't think many people are willing to pay 70+$ for this ppv.

Even the tickets sales are lagging which Jake Paul has noticed and is mocking the UFC about it.

Do they want to cash in, or do they want to send him out with as little "extra" money as possible.

Every sale is a commission towards him...

Of course, every sale is only a small percentage per sale to Diaz.

That’s pretty silly. They want to make as much money for themselves as possible at all times.

It might be a case of overestimating his pull right now and thinking that a card headlined by Diaz doesn’t need support.

Could be that the USA is in the middle of a deep recession and terrible economy that spending thousands on a shit UFC card ticket or $80 on a 3 hour TV show is pretty low on the priority list which includes: shelter, food and fuel.

Nate not going to make some "real money" in boxing come on now

I wouldn't be surprised if he resigns

if khamzat/nate can pull 450k+ i'll be shocked

Doubt this would hit 300k viewership outside the main event on ESPN, let alone PPV buys.

I convinced Dana is tanking this card deliberately to sabotage Nate. Never been a fan of the Diaz bros, but this is some egregious salty shit.

But whatever, sit the fuck down shut the fuck up and watch the card.

500k. If they set the main card up properly it’s not that bad. Khamzgoat Diaz, Li Tony, Walker Cutebela, jailton other guy, dawadu erosa isn’t a bad main card. Of course they’re going to f it up with Norma Dumont and some other scrubs unfortunately

That would be some serious "cut off your nose to spite your face logic" seeing as how the UFC keeps the lions share of profits.

But, the UFC has proven they are willing to go to pretty great lengths in the name of being petty and cheap so you never know.

It would be hilarious if the main event falls through. I don't want that to happen because I want to see the fight, but if Nate wanted to give the UFC a big old fuck you he could figure out some way to pull out or get yanked for a covid test or something. The UFC would be fucked and there is no way this event sells 100k without Nate.

Yeah but that doesn't explain why the UFC isn't even trying with this shitty card.

It's gonna beat Usman vs Leon, I'm pretty sure of.

No matter how you spin it both guys in the main event are bigger names/fan friendlier. Which means more than the rest of the card does.
Should the card as a whole be able to sell better than 278? No, but we all know how the casual buyers are drawn by a big main event.
