I'm confused did she? You say she got 250k but then it says 200k includes win bonus so it seems like you're disagreeing with yourself?
 
If holys win bonus was included then she didn't get 250 she got 200

Cerone getting 200 is too low as well imo

Why is cerrones base pay so low. Thats very bad but I hope he negotiated some ppv for himself

Why? The new ppv model sucks.
Even Dana said the buys are down.
It not what it used to be.

But overall in 2020 if this is the base pay for a fighter with so many fights in the UFC and popular enough (close to 2 mill social media) then guys our 'sport' isn't really that big.

Many other top sports can pay that in a week for crying out loud.. we are a niche thing still in the ESPN era.
 
Holly is boring and she has lost a lot of fights, but she is legit one of the most popular UFC fighters still. Beating Rousey set her up for life. Even the crowd was cheering for her and the bar I was at gave her the 2nd loudest pop behind Conor.
 
I wouldn't take these figures at face value. Cowboy is def getting paid multi mllion dollars for this fight. He even acknowledged that in the pre fight press conference.

Some how its okay that fighter in the second biggest org and owned by Viacom makes a 1/10 of that.

Its still not the same as it used to be.
The money is not really in the ppv points anymore it seems after the ESPN deal.
Some cards got what was it? 100K buys on ESPN.
 
Pennington is a 9-8 fighter and earns 63k base money? Not to hate on someone making their bread more power to them but how is she earning more than most UFC athletes being a slow and unathletic WMMA fighter.
