I think it's the most effecitve strike to spam in certain positions or after you rocked your opponent. It looks ugly and unelegant, but it often will gift you a referee stoppage (and a TKO win) when he sees that you spammed 6 or 7 unasnwered hits to the head.

That's what I thought, there's something about the big arc and unanswered strikes that's likely to get the ref to step in and that there may be a higher margin of error in terms of targeting. Thanks.
