Its just that believe it or not, that picture got ridiculed by a few trolls which kinda created controversy so i think i kinda thought you were brining that up or something idk

Get trolled, get attention and a statue that doesn't sound like a bad deal, also what is there to make fun of.. an athletic woman doing a move impressive for her size and she is easy on the eyes too.
 
I dont understand why they havent atleast put Hermansson vs Cannonier on the card (other than to have Jack fight in Kopenhagen because they propably believe Debmark is the same as Norway or Sweden).
I mean with the history of Bobby fighting in Australia you would want someone to step in and safe the main. Other than WW Diego Lima.

Edit: I heard some rumors that Costa is attending the Event in shape. Can someone verify this?
 
I guarantee the PPV buys will be shit as well. UFC 243 takes place on Joker opening weekend.

Interesting to see how many will order the PPV compared to those attending Joker screenings.

Imagine the balls on Dana holding this shit tier fight card in a 60,000 person stadium....on the same day as Australia's biggest national sporting event no less! I even heard some buzz saying this could be the most attended event in UFC history!! Lmfao

My guess: 30% of seats empty and less then 100k ppvs.

And btw, I live in Sydney atm and was going to go down for this until I saw the calibre of the fights. And yes, before you ask, I am extremely salty!

Said they needed a banger co-main to sell out Marvel and it never eventuated, Al and Hooker is a good scrap but it's not co-main of a ppv worthy. If they had Volk and Max as a co-main it would have sold out already.

PPV good? I love Bam Bam but he shouldn't be on a main card of a ppv at the moment. Megan Anderson and Kassem should be jelly wrestling and Luke Jimeau and Lima on a decent ppv card would be lucky to be the last fight on the early prelims.

Heard he's attending but haven't heard anything about him being a back up should something fall through. Think it's more for him to get in the cage post fight than actually be potential late injury replacement

It’s lacking a great co main event.. but the hooker vs al fight should be a banger, and bam bam is exciting I expect a strong showing from him at home, the main event is bananas.. I’m not saying it’s a great card but if you are a fan of the sport and want to see it live it’s worth a ticket imo.

I thought Dana was overestimating that fight a little, it needed a decent card behind it to pull the numbers they were talking. They cut ticket prices and did a lot of giveaways to get Rhonda v Holly up to 56,000. They'll do something similar but with it being during finals they'll get a lot less coverage from sports media and they don't have Rousey to get mainstream media involved. I think 45k - 50k would be a good turnout but sounds like a failiure due to the expectations they set.

Considering they were talking about setting new records anything under 50k's a failure.
