Ufc 242:Islam v the world

This thread has gone too far.
Poland has multiculti, tolerance and instagram pussies?
<TrumpWrong1>
Poland is not Sweden. Most Polish would beat you up and maybe even kill you if you had balls to say that (your other dumb muslim comments) with a microphone in the public in the capital of Poland. Eastern Europe don't like dumb muslims like you. Look what serbs did to muslims in the 90's! And what are you Turkish or Polish or a retarded convert that is going to shoot a place up?
First of all you saying that Serbia is in Eastern Europe shows that you are completely clueless , Secondly are you praising ethnic cleansing and numerour atrocities commited by Serbs against muslim Bosniak ,muslim&catholic Albanians and catholic Croats from the Serbs during the 90s? Just stop it, This is UFC discussion.

It's in Abu Dhabi, a Muslim majority country... There are barely any actual Arabian fighters in the UFC, so they have to go with the next best thing - Muslims.

It's really that simple, they are not doing any 'religion showcasing' or w/e you're thinking.
Your thread title definitely looks like you're intentionally baiting people. If that really wasn't your intention, then that just means you're not very bright, no offense lol.

How is that not religious based showcasing ?

They intentionally chose to show fighters based on their religion hoping the local fans would be more inclined to support them?

The title itself is a pun on the many “USA v world” wrestling events from the 90s

Should have went with Dagestani or North Caucasus vs World or something like that , It is pretty apparent that you were trying to make a bait-thread.
It turned out to beccome exactly what it was expetected to be , a thread with no connection to the fights or something whatsoever , just a politically-fueled thread.

Well you also shouldnt open your mouth about things(Atrocities commited by Serbs during the 90s) which you dont know even where they happened , let alone know anything more about them.
Im not gonna contribute to making this thread even shittier also you are clearly not very bright so yeah im not gonna reply to you anymore.

But what about Belal Mohammed , Khalid taha, and azatair ?

They’re not trying to showcase dagestanis or people from the north Caucasus — pretty clear what the ufc is trying to do

This isn’t unprecedented ?

Be fair and tell the other guy that I replied to, that he should also control himself (he posted many dumb comments as well) then I'm going to controll myself too. Until then, he shouldn't be suprised to get hateful replies back. Bad action results in a bad reaction

I don't know what you meant by 'religious based showcasing', it sounds like you're trying to say that the UFC is somehow promoting Islam, which they obviously aren't.

If you were just trying to say 'this card has a lot of Muslim fighters because that's the main thing they have in common with Abu Dhabi', then yes you're correct.
Like I said, if the UFC had any Saudi Arabian fighters they would put them in instead, but they don't, so they have to make do.

But this thread was probably the worst way to go about saying it, especially when the pic you posted is from Khabib's team and not the UFC, and the pic is more 'Dagestan vs. World' instead of 'Islam vs. World'.

According to studies I’ve read (a while ago though), Islam is the fastest growing religion, while Christianity, Catholicism is losing more and more members.

I find that interesting, since the Islamic faith still has a negative stigma here in the U.S. Are we headed to a world where America is no longer viewed as the standard bearer. Looks quite possible.

Curtis Blaydes might convert on fight night when he sees the Muslim Caucasian side is more welcoming of half foreheads.

I'm going to try to inject a little brief levity (kinda sorta relevant... ) into this thread, via Monty Python, then you can all get back to solving global religious issues:

I mean...

we had The Gracies vs the Japaners in Bushido 1,and no one freaked out,so im not against it being promoted in this way.

Its just certain fans who wanna make more religious than it has to be.

Correct — good call, but still that nationalistic which we still see all the time

Just for whatever reason it surprised me the ufc would do it in today’s polarized society

Some of the comments in the thread sort of show why
