Max is such a character I am surprised he does not have more of a following than he does, the guy is literally a beast and funny as well.
Maybe it is because he does not have garbage mouth which seems to be preferred these days

I expect Max to style on Ortega. Ortega was getting his ears boxed off by Cub Swanson, the same Swanson who had nothing standing for Max. I believe people have overestimated Ortega's standing skills, based on the Frankie fight. Frankie's standup relies on the threat of the takedown to be effective. The threat of Ortega's guard took that away, (very similar to Werdum vs Cain). Max has solid takedown defense and is very hard to hurt. Outside of an opportunistic sub(e.g. Max slips and Ortega gets on top), I see a long night for Ortega.

agreed , But I'm now more looking forward to DC v Stipe just because its Champ v Champ and either guy could retire soon .
