This card could have 3 title fights on it and 3 exciting ones at that. DC vs. Stipe, Dillashaw vs. Mighty Mouse, and Cyborg vs. Nunes.

Sure these fights could end up boring, DC vs. Stipe could be DC putting on a Couture-esque Wall-N-Stall clinic and Cyborg vs. Nunes could be another Cyborg vs. Holm but I’m hoping for DC TKOing Stipe (most likely a decision victory), TJ TKOing Demetrious Johnson, and Cyborg TKOing Nunes in dramatic fashion. We’ll see.

Either way, UFC 226 on July 7th has the potential to be one of the most exciting UFC cards ever.

Anyone disagree?

Note: Afer UFC 220 I said now would be the time for Cormier vs. Stipe and that DC would defeat Stipe and a lot of people said DC was too old and small for HW. Ha!

I agree, but Fight Week cards have a history of falling apart. It's a drawback of scheduling fights to far in advance. If they are good to go, they should be fighting ASAP not waiting for July.

This sucks.
3 title fights is way too much. 2 is already too much.

All the other PPVs and cards will be watered down, just like last year.

i could win the lottery today too. that would be awesome.

"could" means nothing

when all title fights are signed and fighters don't pull out then i'll get excited

Hope the rest of the card is stacked. Let's wait and see.

On paper it definitely an insane card stacked up. Will see how it actually turns out to be.

Yep and stipe v dc is the likely fall out cuz its the matchup nobody really asked for, but it was all thats left. Then they put them on a dead show with fighters in a weight class that is not needed.

In the meantime, someone else could make a splash and step up to fill in, but how likely is that?

How about do as you say, schedule dc v stipe asap. If they stub a toe, do the show.

Split the champ bouts among the other ppvs.

I wish they had fewer UFC cards and more stacked cards.

if the rest of the card is even 6/10 in terms of fight quality on paper, yea this card will be TOP 3 all time.

DC/Stipe alone is massively historic. Were talking DC potentially establishing himself as top 1-3 all time here, GOAT shit.

TJ vs MM might be the most skilled fight of all time on paper.

And I will always root for Nunes to pull off a miracle and knock out Wand. I mean Cyborg.
