Robert made weight tho, it still won't consider as a title defence if he wins? Is it just Yoel who won't be able to get the belt if he gets the w because he missed weight?

its not really a title fight if he isnt at risk of losing the belt.

Just a regular fight... but going to be interesting if Yoel does win.

Romero wins anyway. So it doesn't matter.

Instant rubber rematch.

Could be the only time in MMA history that one guy fights the same opponent 3 times in a row. (Whitaker, not Romero.)

They'd pretty much have to book the trilogy, Yoel's basically fighting to stay #1 contender. Sucks for Kelvin but then he had alot of detractors anyways.

If Robert wins he remains champion. If he loses he remains champion, but with one more loss on his record. So I don't know what the incentive would be for Yoel to fight. This is a problem. Maybe he'll just go through the motions to salvage the main event, for that extra money.

You can't defend a belt if your opponenet is illegible to win said belt. At least for Rockhold it was sort of a title fight because he was legible to win a vacant interim title.

Whittaker already has the "real" title (thanks a lot GSP), and will keep it if he loses.
