UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg handily led the disclosed payroll at UFC 222, cashing $500,000 for her championship victory over Yana Kunitskaya.

In addition to their commission-reported salaries, main card fighters Ortega, Sean O’Malley, Andre Soukhamthath, and undercard newcomer Alexander Hernandez also took home $50,000 fight night bonuses for their performances.

I don't get why they pay Cyborg so much. I watched the fight with about 10 people and none of us were paying much attention after the Ortega/Edgar fight. I'd offer her 50 grand and tell her to take it or leave it. Who's gonna pay her more than that?
