I almost always fade Puerto Rican fighters in the UFC. It's profitable betting against them.

He really didn't get any offense going though. I think a lot of people, announcers and judges too, look at a fight like "Formiga needs the takedown". He was doing fine standing and in the clinch too with his striking.

he got the better of Formiga in R1 on the feet.. in R2 he looked gun-shy becourse of the takedown in R1 imo

The price on Volk isn't great (to be honest the price on all the Aussies isn't great) but I think he is a very good fighter and will win this one. Have $100 on him @ $1.50.

I thought it was 2-0 going into Rd 3. His standup wasn't significant enough in Rd 1 to overtake the takedown. That's sort of the point in a coin flip. Formiga is so much better on the ground. Nguyen's standup needs to be significantly better to where he's always controlling it.
