Maybe this was before you became a fan but the Cyborg vs Gina Carano was more hyped then Holm vs Cyborg and it did 576,000 viewers on Showtime. This PPV won't come close to that and it won't even touch anything Ronda Rousey ever did for anticipation

Yeah i was going to say Carano/Cyborg was more hyped but i wasn't sure of the numbers but i remember they did some big event in NYC times square with them facing off and Carano was starting to get into movies.

If Cyborg didn't screw around refusing to cut weight and the fight happened soon after Holly/Ronda, maybe. But not now.

Rivera is one of my dark horses to get the title. I live vicariously through Rivera, Ortega and Ponz. Their success is somehow my success etc. FML this is bullshit. Khabib is still on track though that's what really matters right now. Shouldn't have played with my feelings Marlon. The crowd laughed at your voice after you killed Sterling. I hope you know and digest that.

That Moraes callout was total bullshit. He and his scumbag manager were just trying to gain exposure on the bet that Rivera would turn down the fight. If Rivera had turned them down, you can bet that Moraes would have done a media tour talking about how he was being ducked. Total dick move to pull, especially considering that there are some guys out there who legitimately can't get fights.

Anyway, I'm glad that Rivera called their bluff. Made me a bigger fan.
