UFC 218 PBP/discussion

Montano

Torres

Razak/Willis parlay

I'm really 3-0 on bets but 4-0 if you count both legs of the parlay.

Usually I'm about dogs but I played it safe this event.

Nice

I hit yancy

But Justin just busted a lot of parlays

Jesus Eddie is tough, makes it pretty scary what Conor did to him. And then what Floyd did to Conor.

Rousey beats em all though

Damn what a performance from Eddie, fucking Gaethje is still a savage, love the guy, but that's what being more technical does for ya. Eating my crow thought Justin was gonna dust him.

taking some Pettis +280 think its much closer then the odds suggest

Yancy was an elite bet no doubt, I saw the value but pussed out

Have to look at Gaejthe differently now that his chin has been cracked

Shout out to Eddie Alvarez for the amount of body shots he was throwing in that fight too, helped tire out Justin. Always love seeing people ripping hooks to the body an for some reason it's a rarity in MMA. Lost count of how many he landed there. Obviously Justin usually tires as the fight goes on but keeps coming at you and powers through, think all that bodywork helped to stop Justin from being able to power through and turn it up to the next level later in the fight.

Well, if you don't count the fact his leg got chopped to hell yeah.

But against Gaethje you kind of have to give up something. Eddie decided it was gonna be his ability to check leg kicks. It was the right decision in the end, as his leg held up and he got the brilliant KO.

Amazing fight.

I agree, to get into boxing range and be heavy on the lead leg, his leg was vulnerable. I lost money on Gaethje, just giving credit when it's due.

Amazing fight nonetheless.

small bet on pettis decision +350 feel like thats his only path to victory

I think Pettis odds have value but I also think Cejudo wins, if he uses his wrestling I have a hard time seeing him losing rounds.

this is a fight i should be passing, but i have 0.75u pettis +2xx, not a good price based on movement, and maybe not a good price, period. fully recognize cejudo's boxing improvements.. and man he looks just amazing physically.. i think passing is probably the better option, but i'm stuck w/what i have.

i do think it has a chance to be more competitive than a lot of people think, tho.

idk, maybe.. or maybe he could hurt henry with a body shot or something.. i think you go w/the ML, it's close enough to that prop and covers more

Passing on this fight, might call it a night and sleep and watch the rest in the morning, have 2u on Reem and 1u on Aldo to go.

Let's go 1240 Cejudo (scorecards = no action) -315*
Pettis' last finish was his last fight outside of the UFC.

Yeah, I knew Eddie was more technical, but I thought Justin would catch him.

All those fakes, feints, movement, and technical boxing = too much for Gaethje, even though he was still in it during R3.

i flipped on my initial read on this fight. I thought Sergio had value but upon (limited) tape review, i think Cejudo is going to dominate. I'm on Cejudo decision and -3.5

1U Cejudo KO/TKO @ 5.00.
2U Cejudo win to close out a double with Alvarez/Justin ends ITD @ 1.97
