You're overstating how boring GSP was, and at the same time, understating how much hate he got.

The only fighters who got more hate than GSP for not finishing fights, are the ones who were more boring than him. Like Fitch, Askren, Shields - all white, btw.

GSP never had a fight as bad as Woodley/Maia.

Those r good match ups, but this msg card has to have 3 title fights at most, after that with fights that r great but also not so much worthy of headlining a fight night etc.
Lawler Thompson is fight night material as is weidman ja are
They wud save those for fox sports fight nights imo

Not exactly. It's easy to forget in the Sherdog bubble that we are not "the fans". We are a small, opinionated, vocal part of the fanbase. Shertards are often at odds with the fanbase at large. For example, Conor McGregor is adored by the wider MMA audience. On Sherdog, he is despised.

Absence must make the heart grow fonder, GSP hasn't finished a fight since lightweight BJ Penn in 2009. Woodley is much more exciting than GSP, Maia is a difficult opponent to have an exciting fight with and not loose your neck.
 
Guess there's still time for GSP to pull out due to injury . . . I wouldn't get too excited yet boys.

Feels like hes just trying to punish Woodley. Money fight they say well i dont pay for that fight - thats the only way to truly protest these things. Even tho i know one person not buying it wont mean shit. Its like buying eggs from chickens that dont in live in their own shit, it doesnt matter if only few people does it. Has to be more! I agree theyve fucked the mw division up but Whittaker is the #1 contender and hes hurt.

God I hope the UFC doesn't give Cain the next shot! He hasn't done anything since losing the title but tend to his injuries. And if he wins the title will be on the shelf for 18 months
I would make Cain prove he can win and stay healthy.
 
After Rory beat Tyron easily GSP know it was going to be to easy of a fight, and wanted to challenge himself at MW. Tyron would have been one of the easiest fights at WW for him, so I think it is great he is going to challenge himself @ MW. To all the Shertards who are complaining and threatening to boycott this card..... good let the paying customers who want to see this enjoy it.
