Spitz looks really bad on tape. prolly laying all my cum on godbeer. goodbeer sucks too but he should win this one

Ferg has some fantastic funk rolls he displayed against Thompson.

Rolls worked well against Khabib when Trujillo used em.

You see when Trujillo rolled in the first gif, Khabib was stifled when they stood up. Ferg will look to work the jab in these positions. Ferg may even have Khabib on bottom like Truijjilo nearly did which we havent seen Khabib before in.

I spoke about Ferg's rolls on here before the RDA fight. Excellent point re Trujullo having success with them.

Notes on Pedro/Craig

Paul Craig
Took his first Jiu Jitsu class 5 years ago. Works full time as a high school teacher, Buffer announces him as a Kung Fu fighter, but he's mostly a grappler, likes body kicks. Finished all 9 wins, 8 by sub. 6'3.5, 76" reach, kinda lanky, great frame for lhw. +185 against Henrique, entered the UFC after a 1 year layoff. Stays busy in all areas/transitions. 30 y/o

Tyson Pedro
5-0 all 1st round finishes. Longest fight 4:07, father owned king of the cage in Australia. Lifetime martial artist. Cornered James te huna pre debut. 25y/o, 6'3, 79" reach. +105 against Rountree.

Most of Pedro's wins are from him getting mount, gnp til they turn over, then RNC. If you watch Craig's fight against Moore this exact sequence happens in rd1 but Moore couldn't finish the choke. Pedro apparently has a boxing BG but we haven't seen much of it in his fights, he throws a lot of oblique kicks and looks to get the fight to the ground asap.

Pre-tape I planned to put 5u on Pedro, but Craig looked better than I remembered in his debut. I still slightly favour Pedro and will probably play the under, neither guy has ever gone past 1.5rds

thanks for this post.
i wanted to bet on craig but didnt know he isnt full time fighter. makes me cautios.

Yup spitz also in on 2 weeks short notice, its looking a winnable fight for godbear for once.

Man Im hoping Goodbeer is like -250 or something silly so I can fade him.

Why are you all putting your money on Teymur? He beat two low level fighters.
Vannata has a lot of potential and won't have problems with Teymur's stand up. He won't try to take him down.
Vannata is the right pick.

how can you say he wont have any trouble with Teymurs standup before they even fight? :) Teymur is 39-2 in Muay Thai/K1 obviously a high level striker just as Vannata is

also i would not call Novelli/Gouti bums they were solid opponents for a guy that only been doing mma for about 3 years

It's a great breakdown but I don't buy at all that Khabib is just clearly more athletic with more handspeed, etc.

He's physically stronger I agree, but i've watched a ton of both these guys and while the athleticism is different, there's no clear "winner" in terms of it.

i dont agee that kahbib is more athletic

i agree that there is a very good chance that ferg loses the first five minutes of the fight and we get much better odds

Yeah its a good plan not gonna fault it, those odds flip soon as khabib gets a take down or pushes him against the cage.

Still fergies line is quite tempting atm

nothing worse than buying a +170 when you are fairly positve that you are going to get +250 or more especially in a five round fight where one guy probably has a decisive edge in cardio

Not sure why everyone is so sure Ferg loses round 1. Khabib is kind of a slow starter, he seems to get more comfortable as the fight goes on, especially after scoring his first td. Ferg doesn't waste any time.

I didn't try to say that Teymur's stand up is bad, but I think that Vannata is better and that his performances have been more impressive. He almost knocked out Ferguson on 2 weeks notice and he knocked out a vet like Makdessi in r1.
I even think that Vannata can take the fight to the mat if he needs to.
I'm not saying that Teymur can't win this fight, but after fighting 2 low level fighters , this is big step up for him.

what if he hurts him or stuff his takedowns or even finish him early then you are left with nothing but regret :D if you like ferg in this matchup you should just bet the great price we are already getting then add on livebet if you are getting another great line there

Exactly this. good chance Ferg loses Rd 1 but who knows. starting with 3 cannolis on him at +165

I signed before Christmas (was offered early Dec), he wanted to fight other guys, I wasn't executing, I was holding back, I didn't throw kicks, do angles, it wasn't a good day for me, but I will put everything together, it's happened before in kickboxing, happens in sparring as well, I have confidence, because I know I wasn't my best, he's powerful, very strong, big 170'er, I could feel that, now I'm walking around heavier, more dramatic cut, he's explosive, I think he'll go for more takedowns now, he'll tire out, I have big wrestlers helping me, I'll throw more kicks this time, angle off more

Hopefully when WB talks throwing more kicks that doesn't include the retarded naked low kick he threw in the first round vs Woodley that got him taken down. Kind of why i'm inclined to believe he didn't perform to the best of his abilities, never seen WB do something so dumb.

Teymur's been fighting for so long, he has habits, we'll expose those habits, we study everybody, alot of footage, always change your rhythm, Teymur is chiny, I've seen him dropped alot in footage by guys who don't have power, KO will come, don't expect it, fancy strikes have become my basic, I'm different every fight, I adapt, just have fun, went to Thailand for a week, worked with Ido Portal, you create power when you're loose, no pressure, no stress, wrestled in high school and college

Nice find. I didn't notice that and it's an excellent point.

Trained at Jackson's MMA for my whole camp (1.5 month), fighting is my whole life, 17 years I've been doing this, my father did martial arts his whole life, had his own show, my base is BJJ then Karate, then boxing then MMA, I prefer to strike, punch caught me off guard, was off balance, no one is going to punch me as hard as my dad, cousin and coach is also here, elevation training has been great, I've been watching his game, I have alot of advantages, I'm 25, I'm young, representing Australia

Fans want blood, won nationals in wrestling at 184 pounds, we're going to make him quit, put the pressure on, he only prepares for 2 rounds, I can go 5, I've seen him quit and cry in a sambo match, I will hit him in the stomach so hard, I have 20 years in grappling, I'm having fun, I keep my elbows sharp, I have long arms, my darce, it's just like chess for me, if he hurts me, I'll hurt him twice as bad, I work my ass off
