Yeah when he turned his back and slumped against the fence, I thought they'd stop it for sure. That's how you get permanent damage - taking 120 head shots
 
Biggest comeback I can remember since nakamura subbing Jingliang after taking a pasting.

Iuri's belly down sub's are a treat. Like I said he's a tough motherfucker so not shocked he could survive the onslaught, though obviously close to a stoppage. Sanders looked really good but sick submission.

He could've taken an easy NC or DQ in the first.

It's definitely a win for yuri backers. I was on Sanders also.

I think he was atleast trying to defend/stand up all the time and that's why it wasnt stopped in the first.

I cant understand people saying jt should have been stopped. Alcantara moved every time the ref demanded defense.

The biggest proof he was ok is that 30s later he pulled an amazing scramble and submited Sanders. Not a lucky shot or anything, but a calculated intelligent move from a guy who was in the fight the whole time.
