UFC 209 in Stockton?

What do you guys think about UFC 209 in Stockton California?


featuring main and co-main bouts with both Nick and Nate? Together, I definitely think they have enough drawing power to headline their own event in their home town. This seems like an opportunity that shouldn't be missed.

Bobby Green, Gilbert Melendez, Yancy Medeiros and anyone else from their camps could be on it.

Do you guys think this is a good idea? and could it really happen and be a successful event? OR did I smoke too much yesterday?

Well the Stockton Arena only seats 12'000 peoples.
Might not be enough for a PPV card imo.

All for a goof Fight Night card with both Diaz Bros tho.

But Stockton look like a sh*thole.
The crowd might be bad Lol...

No I doubt it. they might do a small fight night there though. no arena big enough for a PPV. when you put the octagon and everything in it takes up a lot of space so the seats will be less.

12,000 is the seating for a center stage concert which is basically the same seating the UFC would use
Plus you dont need space for the mixing boards and pyro controls that you do with concerts
