Doane +525... I'll bite. His striking was vastly improved in his last fight. He was actually beating up Munhoz far worse than even Rivera. And the choke he got caught in was pretty insane by Munhoz, not many could pull that off. What happened in the Sanders fight is certainly a bad sign, but to take this fight against Bektic on this notice and on a 3 fight losing streak, he must be somewhat confident.

I think Bektic got this but I'm not gonna lay money on a prospect coming back from a long layoff being a -750 favorite! Dog or pass for sure.

I agree that he looked very sharp on his feet vs Munhoz before he got caught in that slick guillotine. Bektic may start slwoly since its his first fight since the injury. Although I'm not sure if I agree with you on the confidence issue, Doane may have felt he would have been cut if he didn't accept the fight, somewhat of a Spicely situation.

I think he took it cos he was either already cut or he was cornered in to it being on a 3 fight skid

I honestly don't even know how Brick Top still has an account on this forum. He's already been banned. Do people forget how outlandish he was as RobbieDawg after he won a couple bets? Sure enough, once he loses big, he has a breakdown and gets banned. He's been just as loud about his picks since then, and of course, some of those have lost as well. Whenever that happens, those fighters made stupid mistakes or are now bums. When supporting his arguments for fighters that he thinks will win, he bashes the wins of the other opponent saying they beat bums or it just shows how bad those fighters are. It's fighter bashing constantly with hyperbole while being as loud as possible to try to support an argument.

I don't know how anyone can take it seriously. It's so evident how downhill this thread and forum have gone that it's laughable. Arrelione left, UAK left, MMAGoodfella rarely posts, RogerFedorAir who had this forum created probably only has a handful of posts, etc.

Get ready for name calling

EDIT. I just read the rest of this page and yup.

With manila cancelled im gonna take a chance and go bigger on lb on this card than i anticipated

'Michael Bisping is the fifth winner of The Ultimate Fighter to have held UFC gold (He won season 3 back in 2006). And none of the four previous winners—Matt Serra, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans or Carla Esparza—have ever successfully defended their belt.'

I was on Bisping 100% but after reading this article on fightland I am sold on the H-bomb. Can't deny the facts, no previous tuf winners have successfully defended their belt so why should Bisping be any different.

Time to get on the Hendo Train ... toot toot

Manuwa/OSP is +350 to go to decision. That is very, very tempting.

Just skimmed the article, but that sounds like terrible reasoning. Those other fights and the fact that Bisping was once a contestant and winner on a TUF has absolutely no correlation to the outcome of the fight this Saturday. The 'Tuf curse' isn't fact, it's silly superstition and you shouldn't let it dictate how you bet, in any way, shape, or form.

That's why I made a joke a few weeks ago about Bisping beating Rockhold starting a butterfly effect that it made it more likely for dogs to win. People often refer to previous big dogs winning when they want to argue betting a future one (or not betting a big fave) are making no sense at all.... I thought people were generally joking, but I'm starting to think that might not be the case...

Im hitting Manuwa dec +700
I'm on the opposite end. Have two bets for $100 on OSP DEC to win a little under 1000. One bet was parlayed with 2 tennis legs that already hit.

Also an unit on fight going to round 2. As long as this fight doesn't end in the first I'm breaking even.

making me wish i bet more on this one.

i'm sitting at 0.65u goes 3 rounds at basically +400ish, 0.5u O1.5 +135. basically i played both guys separately at +1050 dec and +750 dec.. don't have any preference who takes it, either, really.

so i lose all plays if it's U1.5 as opposed to your U1.0, but you're risking a bunch more to win a bunch more hehe

Rumor is Vitor is having a bad weight cut

Will be interesting to see if Gegard becomes even more juiced

Where you hear this jb?

Someone on Twitter stated that Vitor had cancelled media stuff and some interviews due to unknown reasons, speculation is it the cut.
