UFC made 2x the profit WWE did in 2017 & WWE grossed over 4x as much

Fighters had to be well under 10% of revenue in 2006.
They did 12.5x the profit from 04-05, no wonder White thought they would be bigger than Soccer lol

UFC in 2006 made 2x as much profit as WWE did in 2017.
But in 2017 WWE had over 4x the revenue compared to UFC in 2006.
It shows what an ATM UFC was in 2006 as far as profit-margin

Basically WWE (2017) made about $30m profit off over $800m revenue

WWE killed of their PPV business. A lot of their profit came from that. Hell, the UFC might kill theirs off too if they don't stop pumping out these watered down PPVs.

WWE stopped doing PPV & replaced it with WWE-N because their PPV numbers were getting very low.
So not a lot of profit was coming from that before they restructured & while the network is under-performing, they made a shitload of cuts to make it profitable.
UFC PPV numbers have fallen, but they still make a lot off PPV
