Assuming he will be defending his belt.

As much as I dislike idea of Aldo rematch, this perhaps makes the most sense despite him turning fight down on short notice.

I think with Aldo, McG could still pull good PPV and gate numbers, as many of us are curious what would have happen in a rematch.

But yea, my 3 cents.

What you think?

Defense against Edgar. He should stay away from the higher weightclasses until he wins a few.
Aldo vs Holloway for #1 contender

For the ufc its probably gonna be the Aldo fight. He allready shown he can beat him,and people will still tune into that one to see that one. If aldo can not lose his cool it could be a great and yet still winnable fight for the notorious one.

Aldo vs Conor rematch at 200 with Frankie vs Max on the same card and the winners face off at the end of the year.

Maybe even let the losers face off at the end of the year too.

I'm sure the UFC will give him someone shorter with less reach, no grappling, and no gas tank. Despite Diaz exposing him, Dana will try to market Conor again as some elite mma fighter, as opposed to reality where he is a good puncher with his left hand and that's it.

Mike Wilkinson, or maybe Alex Bruce Leeroy. The UFC will raise them to top 10 to try to continue the shattered illusion.

Weed beats speed. Diaz Bless.

prolly Aldo. If Conor loses then they can promote a trilogy in Brasil or Ireland and make $$$ while at the same time ducking Edgar for years.

I would prefer Frankie, but if it's Aldo i'm not gonna cry over it.

Edgar or RDA i want to see this i see Conor winning this with better preparation.

I think this loss will help Conor conserve hes energy next time and keep hes hand up. He has the talent to be a world beater..

Why should RDA get off the hook, you down to fight Conor lets do it. Conor still champion.

Should be Edgar, will probably be Aldo. I wouldnt discount a 155 match up with RDA as Conor could have had this written into negotiations. Probably why he went for it at 170

Conor himself said defending at 145 makes the most sense.

Nailed it. The UFC will probably try and match Connor v Aldo because it is less risky but Jose has a history of getting injured.

I would like to see conor against edgar but aldo makes more sense and more background to it

I think at UFC200 they need fights that have a better chance of actually happening. Hence Edgar makes more sense for Conor if that is the criteria they go by otherwise Aldo is most likely more marketable but comes with a huge risk.
