Because it's so absurdly bad anyone who can possibly be entertained by the atrocious stories, the bad acting and the fake fighting needs to be put down, they're holding society back.

Well it's simulated combat sport with storylines and characters. The end product is different but it's the characters and storylines they invest in which they find entertaining.
