Today I was in attendance in Baghdad where Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis came by to meet with the troops and civilians currently deployed/working here. During the question and answer portion, someone asked Cowboy who his next fight was against and he stated that he'll be fighting GSP at UFC 200.

GSP by easy UD, but it wont happen

Donalllddd, "Budweiser is not impressed by your performance"

don't see it likely happening...

but Cerrone is now fighting 170 and I think Georges would like a warmup fight against a smaller guy before going after the belt again

(judging by Zahabi's callout for Nate to fight Georges)

Makes zero sense honestly. If GSP comes back it will be against Silva or Lawler IMO.

If I was GSP if come out of retirement to beat up Cowboy. Easy 5 mil in TOTAL payday. Outside the high kick from hell Cowboy has no chance.

Well, you don't have to believe it but I'm just restating what he said. He basically just said, "I don't care if I get in trouble but I'm letting you all know right now I'll be fighting GSP at UFC 200 and will send him back to retirement"

It was a joke....

And you seriously couldn't include even a single picture that might vaguely corroborate this highly suspect story? Gee, I wonder why.

lol....never retract.

We're not allowed to take pics on this particular complex. Check his or Pettis' twitter. They were here and I have no reason to lie

This fight makes so little sense that it's believable.

I've got a UFC 200 spoiler too:

The card will be disappointing despite 2 title fights and Dana will call people idiots for not appreciating whatever it is. Some people will agree with him and there will be countless threads bickering about it.
