I dunno bout you guys but I was really looking forward to the Mcgregor Diaz rematch. I'm a huge fan of both and either way I think it would have been an EPIC fight. I agree that Mcgregor is acting a diva but I also think he has the right to do so because like he said he has generated a ton of money for the ufc. I don't think Nate would even have a problem with it due to the enormous amount of money he got and would have gotten for another Mcgregor fight. I do not think this fight even needs all that much promotion due to all the publicity surrounding the first fight and current turmoil, minus a few shit talking sound bites from each side.

I hope it's not too late for this fight to continue. Maybe if there's enough of us that feel the same we could reach out to the promotion before a replacement opponent is announced.

Fuck that lol

I hope they put Conor on the bench until 2017 for this. Let Bones/DC and GSP headline UFC 200. Let Aldo/Edgar fight for the vacant title. Give Nate a replacement opponent.

Conor McGregor has become nothing but annoying recently. I can't believe all of this shit. Did GSP ever complain about doing all of the press shit? After he broke the gate record in Canada vs Shields, did he shit his diapers and cry for The UFC to come give him special treatment? No.

Conor has caused such a fucking shit storm, he fucked up the FW division, and now he's fucking up UFC 200.

Get rid of the guy for a little while. Life will go on. Then bring him back in early 2017 with a rematch vs Aldo.

I hated the rematch so I don't care. I hope it stays off. Let McG defend his title next.

Now that i'm a yellow belt can i do this..........

White belt thread.

The REAL petition should be to keep him OUT of UFC 200.

If he was allowed to skip media obligations...how the fuck is that fair to other fighters who DO THEIR FUCKING JOB?

In the end, Conor is robbing you.

Whether you like him or not, he's robbing you.

If you like him, he's robbing you of the chance to see him avenge his loss. (good luck with that)

If you despise him, he's robbing you of of the chance (more like...super probability) of watching him LOSE again.

First he says that Nate is not worthy enough to fight him, and now he's saying that Nate is too big...

...well if he thinks Nate is such a world beater, (sorry Canner, Atlas you are not) imagine Conor fighting ACTUAL 170 pound fighters...haha. (Nate doesn't belong at 170)

Also, for Cloner to mention that he's not yet paid to promote fights... O_O

...what the fuck?

So if he was getting extra money to promote, then...he wouldn't be crying right now?

He's a fucking joke.

Fuck him. UFC has played this perfectly now. Dana was actually telling the truth regarding Conor's refusal to do all the promotional work. Keep him off UFC 200, and if he still wants to fight after that, book him UFC 201 or 202. Aldo vs. Edgar was always the best/most interesting fight on that card anyway.

Hah GSP never did anywhere fucking near the promotion that Conor has. The level of promotion that Conor handles would break about 90% of the roster. Breaking a record =/= promotion.
Bones/DC is a boring fight, there was nothing in their first fight except round 2 that made it interesting. I guess maybe Jon finishes D.C. or D.C. pulls an upset? There are really no good fights right now that aren't taken except a khabib fight.

He shouldn't have any more rights than any other fighter. It's a sport and competition should take place an an even playing field. This guys gotten more advantages than anyone in the sports history and he still cries.

man this is stupid, even conors fans know that this is about money and power, not stupid ass petitions. Dana feeds the petitions to his 7 month old killer whale in his backyard enclosure

I would petition that he needs to defend his belt or give it up.

Let me lay this out for you, in very simple terms.

Conor did alot of promotion for his past fights ----> Got compensated for fighting and for the promotion he did.

Now Conor doesn't want to do the promotion anymore, but still wants to get the same level of compensation. Get it now?

Another part. He somehow, in his crazy mind, feels like Nate was at an advantage last time because he came in on short notice, and didn't have to do the press stuff. lol

So now this time, he wants Nate to do the press stuff and for him to just train. Essentially, putting Nate at a disadvantage this time again, and him at an advantage.

Do you honestly think Conor is right in this situation???

And you are crazy if you think Jones/DC was "boring".
And no good fights? GSP/Lawler isn't a good fight?

You are on another level of fanboyism here.

Petition?

"Thank you for your petition regarding the ufc's removal of Conor McGregor from ufc 200.
The federal government plays no role in the disciplinary actions taken by ufc, so we are not in a position to address the specific request raised in your petition.
However, we appreciate that so many of you banded together to make your voices heard through this platform."

There you go.

UFC haven't played this perfectly because 'perfectly' would be having McGregor do all the promotion and then fight at 200. He's the biggest star in the sport and, apparently, it's by some distance considering the uproar and exposure his 'retirement' tweet garnered. How would the UFC benefit financially with him off the card; Aldo vs Edgar generated 330,000 buyrates for their fight. This is supposed to be UFC 200, and the biggest star should be on that card.
