Compared to UFC 100, which was amazing and had tons of excitement and will NEVER be forgotten. UFC 200 for me, was a bit of a slap, dash kind of a card. Fighters just randomly thrown together and Tate v Nunes was the main event? lol.

The pre-pre-lims had some good fights and stoppages, but the pre-lims and main card kind of dragged on. The card lacked magic. They shouldn't have taken McGregor off the card IMO. Edgar v Aldo was a good fight, but not a UFC 200 type fight, Aldo/Edgar was always going to be a 5 round spar-type of fight and would never produce the kind of magic needed for the UFC 200 spectacle.

They were able to put Anderson on the card with 2 days notice, but couldn't reinstate Conor on the card with 3 months notice over missing a press conference? ... lol, talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face ...

For me, UFC 202 is the real UFC 200.

Yeah it ducked unfortunately. Aldo looked great though

It could have been better.
The RDA vs Alvarez type of fight was missing.
Which is funny, as Eddie has been pretty boring, lately.
You just never know.

Yes 200 was a little bit of a let down, but you guys gotta gtfo with this 202 is the real 200 just because Conor vs Nate is on it. It's the Featherweight champ fighting a lightweight at Welterweight

You really want that short notice excuse for Diaz vs. Conor don't you? There's no way it would have been right to have Diaz and Conor's fight moved to 200 mid-camp. This time, both men are getting full camps and all the time they need so no more excuses can be made.

Aldo looked JACKED and was lightning fast ... I'm talking Vitor on TRT type speed ... I will reserve judgement until he pisses clean.

FTR, I'm not accusing anyone of anything, just saying he looked freakishly jacked/fast last night.

Yeah I felt as a whole it was a decent card at best. It definitely dragged on too long.

Blame it on Jones

Aldo and Cain looked great.

Weak main card overall though, really weak, weak like 7 days.

Pretty disappointing, but Jones didn't do it any favors. The fact that there was no fight of the night says enough. Some good individual performances, but no great fights.

Yeah I agree. There were a number of finishes at the bottom of the card and some on the main but there weren't many wars. Tate's fight was one sided, Cains fight was one sided, Lesnars fight was one sided, Aldo v Edgar was definitely not as one sided as Rogan made it out to be (I had it 3-2 Aldo), Aldo definitely HAD to be on point or Edgar would have taken it but it was a very tactical fight and didn't have much drama, it was pretty much Frankie be Frankie for 3 minutes and then Aldo would try and land significant blows in the last minute or two to steal the round.

I don't blame UFC though, they did their part in putting together a stacked card.

Great on paper, but pretty meh in reality. Thats the way it goes sometimes.

I enjoyed all but the Anderson/Cormier fight (and didn't watch Hendricks prelim).

I was pretty bored last night. None of the fights had any real sense of excitement. Within the first minute of every match you could tell it was going to the judges. It was poor matchmaking for trying to build a "super" event. Striker vs Wrestler in every fight was a terrible strategy for building an event like this was supposed to be.

It honestly made me question if I am going to continue buying PPVs. It's not that the fights were terrible but it just didn't feel worth the 50 bucks when all was said and done.

I really enjoyed it.

Needed a Conor/Ronda or Jones to feel like an actual big card, ending on the Nunes win with a dead crowd didn't help either, lots of solid fighters, very little star power.

I was pretty ashamed of how I hyped it up to the friends I was watching with who can't even really be called casuals (WWE fans watching purely for Brock really). I wasn't impressed and I'm a big MMA fan. There's no telling what they thought of it lol... They were happy about Brock though, I wasn't.

It was entertaining but it also lacked "that" moment. At no point was I ever, "wow this is something."

I can't imagine it hooked in much of the casuals that tuned in to watch it
