UFC 2 Prelims - Has Anyone Seen Them?

So on the UFC 2 VHS that was released, when the UFC was owned by SEG never released the undercard. Jason Delucia wasn't Royce's first opponent, Minoki Ichihara was. Remco Pardoel had already fought for 10 minutes before elbowing that 59 year-old black guy to the living death... Poor Fred Ettish was only a replacement for Frank Hamaker, who I've never even heard of..

Any of these fights apart from the Royce one, which I've linked below... Anyone?



I heard SEG won't release the footage. It's not on Fight Pass. How do we watch these vintage fights? I've always wanted to see them... The footage has to exist somewhere. The only one I can find is Royce vs Minoku.

Yes. I have seen a few but not all of them.

I bought a UFC 2 DVD several years back and the Special Features section had Smith vs Wizard and Weit vs Lucarelli (with multiple camera angles you could change while watching). Weit vs Lucarelli was very violent. I remember Smith vs Wizard is a pretty quick standing guillotine against the fence. I believe he went out from the choke

The Ichihara vs Gracie fight is also on that DVD.

I was mad the DVD only had some of the prelims but not all. This was very frustrating for me for many years looking for those fights. I gave up a long time ago but I hope we can still find them one day and enjoy some 1994 NHB.

There is a GIF on the net of the Morris/Daughtery finish. Beautiful sub!

Yeah, I have, I even have a copy of them somewhere. It's my crown jewel of fight footage along with a legit version of YAMMA.

I've looked pretty hard at various stages - it's basically the only MMA related thing with any history that I haven't seen. It's the Holy Grail for MMA nerds.

What on earth are you talking about? They are all on Fightpass.

By example, here's what happens when you search "Pardoel Leon". Watch it. Pardoel wins via pseudo-Ezekiel choke. He hits a nice soto makikomi takedown.
