Now that I think about it Werdum went out just like Aldo! Both rushed in and got caught. Werdum was really pushing his luck since he did it twice.

Twice? Werdum did it from the beginning of the fight, 5 times at least. Difference for me was Aldo was nervous as hell and Werdum wasn't worried about Stipe at all.

You still right though both got koed rushing in like rookies. Funny that both fights had potential for a double ko.

Great moment. Feel shitty for Werdum, with all his Werdum faces in the crowd. Poor guy. But real happy for Stipe. Hard guy not to like....

I meant to also add that he was actually caught twice. Just before the KO he was clearly rocked and knocked off balance doing a premature chicken step lol. Then he chased him again!

I think in on of the videos he says he was already disoriented?

Yeah your right. Luke Thomas made a decent video on it and he basically said what we're both saying. Maybe he thought he'd have success with the blitz like shogun v machida 1.
