It was embarrassing how much like a ciircus UFC 198 looked. Souza was doing some ridiculous type of clap where he positioned his hands vertically apart instead of horizintally apart which obviously looked ridiculous. At least he won though which somewhat made up for his "alligator walk." I'm not even going to say what I think of that gimmick because I try not to think of it. The worst part of the show was the main event though.

It was absolutely embarrassing to see the man holding the most prestigious title in the sport making clown faces to the crowd before his fight. Clearly he wasn't in a serious mood. He should have been. I didn't see him making any more of those clown faces on his way out of the Octagon though, did you? Does he get fined for that or does Zuffa not mind their fighters making a circus sideshow of what should be a prestigious, highly respected sport? I'll bet it's going to be a lot harder to sell tickets to a UFC event the next time The UFC comes to that city. I'm sure the fans didn't feel like the pre-fight antics of Werdum made up for the short, one sided fight. Do the fans feel that Werdum gave them their money's worth? I seriously doubt it and neither did Vitor Belfort. I'm not sure he even connected with even one punch and the way he was "fighting" didn't look like fighting to me. He looked like someone doing his best to avoid fighting. The whole thing was an embarrassment. If I had been watching it with people who had never seen MMA before I would not have been able to defend the sport to them.

Err... Jacare does this "clap" all the time, I guess you don't get what it means...

There should be a belt demotion system in Sherdog.

You've been around since 2005 and never watched "Jacare" (might want to google the meaning of that nickname) fight before, hmmm, TS?

you went through all this and didnt even make any jokes about how leslie smith had to fight a man in a circus show? weak

yes very strange.

Only someone who never before saw a Jacare walkout would post something like that.

Then you see the 2005 join date. Scratches head.

You've obviously missed everytime conor, ronda, or chael have been in the spotlight.

I do think Werdum has been overdoing the troll face.

Funny the first time, just kinda dumb now

TS is used to skip entrances and walkouts, when you torrent files it usually ends in this way: all and quick.

It's not an issue because whatever he's done in the past doesn't make his behavior at 198 any less cartoonish. I will say that what I saw of him makes me glad I saved my time and money on the other cards he was on that I didn't bother to watch. Those types of cartoonish, circus sideshow type gimmicks are not what I want to see when I pay good money for a PPV.

The only embarrassing thing is this thread. Jacare has always done this and people love it, in case you didn't notice that either from the crowd imitating the "clap". How the hell haven't you noticed what it means considering it goes hand in hand with his alligator walk?

Some people, man.

Yeah fuck these fighters for having a personality. They should be all serious all the time and never have fun ever cuz they're super serious fighters who fight seriously.
