UFC 196 pbp/discussion

Did he say "my bitches" or "Las Vegas"?

got a lil greedy by taking decision and the ml, only had .5 u on it but still profit

Erosa is the 145 version of George Roop. Roop is 6'1 and fights at 135. And just like Roop, Erosa got dropped and then knocked out by an overhand punch.

Those tall, skinny guys at the lighter weight classes are so easy to beat.

They're often giving up some speed. And there was a noticeable speed difference between Erosa & Ishihara here.

I think Roop is better because he's actually figured out how to wrestle and get takedowns. Erosa is going to struggle without being able to get the takedowns.

I dont think being tall and skinny has anything to do with your chin.

nothing on this one for me.. seems unpredictable with both guys out for over a year

Would have done similar or put a flyer on erosa or ichi split d if the prop was available, ishi was slowing down but he had that pop and cardio for early r2, I think he would have gassed totally after a minute or 2 but will never find out.

ishi split would be a good idea, maybe I'm exaggerating but it felt like ishi was slowing down quite significantly and the fight would turn it to a classic tight 29-28/split decision but we will never know.

PuertoRican: I agree, I think I wrote something about it in the past. Guys who are 6'0 or taller seem to have an awful record at featherweight and below.

Anyone else think Siyar will beat Thatch? he got dropped so easily was Gunnar and it wouldnt surprise me if Siyar finishes him too

longest break ever.... especially after last weeks card with no gaps ever !

Siyar has brutal hand power, but he has been out for 2 years + due to injuries, also not looked the best in his ufc performances with 2 last losses, really hard to ignore thatch size and power also but a siyar ko flyer could be worth a shot, quick glance at his record most ko wins were in r1 too.

Flirted with taking Saggo here but too many question marks. Nothing on this on. GL to those with plays on this one.
