UFC 196 is a very predictable / basic card imo

There aren't that many "Great" fights compared to for example UFC 197 which is packed of extremely entertaining fights (Pettis Barboza, Brunson - Hall, Jones - Cormier etc.) This upcoming card doesn't really have any entertaining match ups. Holly vs. Miesha is a little bit entertaining, but unless Miesha can lay and pray on Holly for 5 rounds, she is most likely getting knocked out / outclassed badly on the standup. That being said, Holly has very high percentage of winning. She has good TDD and obviously very good stand up.

Conor vs. Diaz is a joke if anything. We wanted the fight to see the build up and the trash talk but lets be realistic here: Diaz is another sacrificical lamb for Conor and is clearly just in for the paycheck, he already lacks of confidence and you can clearly see it from the press conference / other interviews.. Unless the fight goes to the ground its almost certain that Lil' Diaz is going to sleep.

That being said, i'm not pumped for the card at all compared to UFC 189, 192, 193, 194, 195 and 197. Seems like a very basic card that could've been much better (If RDA hadn't pulled out and they would've added some more exciting fights) However, im hoping for even one entertaining fight that goes past the first round (predicting that it will be Holm vs. Tate)

What made you so pumped for UFC 193. On paper UFC 193 had really only Ronda vs Holly that was worth shit. And maybe JJ/Valerie...

UFC 196 is at least as good as 193 on paper with Tate/Holm and McGregor/Diaz which will be guarenteed fireworks. Tate doesnt have boring fights and neither do Nate and Conor.

Nunes vs Shevchenko is the sleeper fight on that card. Silva vs Taleb and Sanchez vs Miller should be great as well. Oh and can't forget about the Bahadurzada/Thatch fight either. Someone is more than likely going night night in that one. Plus 2 solid LHW fights, that will project whoever is more impressive out of the 2 winners into a nice spot in the 205 division, and potentially setting himself up for a big fight. Plus Holm defending her title for the first time against a solid challenger in Meisha. Plus who doesn't like watching Meisha Tate? And an absolute sick main event, and super interesting one not only stylistically but due to the fact Conor is up 2 weight classes from what we've ever seen him at before. It's an epic fight. And great card. Don't pretend your not excited. Be quiet.

I'm not excited and its the truth. I might get a little bit more excited on the fight night but right now i couldn't give a f*ck really. I've stayed up from 3am till 8 am for every single card. I'm probably just tuning in for co main event in this card. Main event too predictable

Yeah, there will most likely be some very good non appreciated fights (on paper) on the prelims / main card. The main event is just a joke in my opinion. Diaz is nowhere near the fighter Conor is and it was stylistically a very easy fight for Conor (most likely no takedowns) so Lil' Diaz will basically just be a walking target... TKO in the first round

Conor/Nate - Not that important as far as title picture but that's a great, exciting fight.
Holm/Tate - Not a big fan of the women fighting but Holm's first title defense is worth a look.

Latifi and Corey Anderson intrigue me at LHW too because LHW is so weak. The rest are whatever but it's not a bad card.

This. I'm like.. huh? WMMA is bad enough as it is but Tate is one of the worst.

196 suffers a lot from losing Dos Anjos but I think I can still enjoy it a bit. Diaz I don't have hopes of him winning but it's going to be fun to watch.
