UFC 100->199: Will Hendo Make it to 200+?

Sorry but that power is gone by the years RIP H Bomb
The power aint gone, it's the set-up and ability to land the punch that has gone. But against a guy that can't get him to the ground, the H-Bomb is still there. Hendo by KO, round 2.

Shamrock and Royce fight at ufc 1, and they just fought each other again like 3 months ago

Yeah lol but we all know that was a freakshow fight. Vitor and Hendo fights at least have the semblance of a somewhat legitimate contest between ranked fighters.

Shamrock should have retired at least fifteen years ago. And Royce after the Hughes fight. He had nothing to prove at that point. The sport had already passed him by.

Well yea obviously as you get older, you are going to get weaker. But every single person that knows even the smallest amount about punching will tell you that power is the last thing to go. A 90 year old Hendo would be able to knock out anyone on the planet if he is given the chance to throw a haymaker to his jaw. It's the chance/ability to actually make that punch happen that diminishes with age.

Just when you think Dan is done he will get a ko here and there. Shogun 2 and Tim i thought would be his last fights at the time and he won both impressively. I just hope he dosent get kod bad in this one, its quite likely imo.

I believe there is a lot of truth to that being in fight gyms quite a lot. A lot of it had to do with body composition. And a lot of it have to do with how broad and strong your shoulders are and how they tie into the rest of your body. Obviously you don't want huge muscular shoulders where it limits the speed of your punch but you want your punch felt through your entire bidy on the receiving end. Dan and a few others like Chuck had these similar qualities. Where as someone like Bisping or Diaz throw lots of volume their punches stop at their shoulders. People real big like Randleman would have too much mass to throw tight and fast. Dan will keep his power, he wings that same power punch every fight.. he just dosen't set it up as good.
