I agree. Just saying. Jon Gunderson and Wandy used to be known for going hard in training in Vegas. People knew it going in to train with them. It's all about what you say before the sparring. The fucked up part is when it's new guys who don't know any better and they feel they shouldn't say anything, and then the dude STILL fucks them up.

Some of them just don't know any other way nor care to. But..to their credit they do warn people that's how they spar. So no one can claim surprise. But...they won't take it easy on anyone.

Well I heard of some fucked up stories from Mac Danzig at xtreme Couture,he says the atmosphere was brutal there and that he'd see guys like Jay hieron be sparring stand up,just straight kickboxing against a straight boxing or kickboxing guy and if the guy was beating him he'd take them down regardless of the rules and wail on the dude on the ground. I've heard that from other sources as well.
Also it's up to the coaches too. Where I trained it wasn't tolerated for things to get to out of control. It'd get broken up.
Headgear don’t really protect your chin. Protects more against superficial damage and cuts.no headgear? no wonder he has no chin
Hard to control sometimes. My first time sparring was against one of the amateur fighters who was just a dick and liked to haze the new guys (I was already training for a year before sparring). The lead instructor was also sparring at the same time.
Yea I would opt out of that one. He might get some Everton texiera flashback and banish me to the deepest darkest shadow realms
