U.S. report on Russian hacking released.

C'mon man, comparing North Korea to the DNC is a blatantly false equivalence.

Russia - again if this is all true - isn't some knight in shining armor for US democracy. Do you really believe that a country that's essentially a dictatorship cares about the integrity of a foreign democratic process?
I'm not saying they care about us, I'm saying they exposed some corruption that is pretty fucking important if we want to believe our democratic process has any merit at all! If the government and media is conspiring to rid elections, yet somehow the blame is placed on a Russian TV outlet rather than the corruption itself? This is blatant slight of hand.

But this was supposed to be the proof to shut Donald Trump up!

All we get are reports of "Didn't you know RT is owned by the Russians!!!"

Pathetic!

Trump isnt attending the intelligence breifings, so i doubt that thos would shit him up.

It does show that people like youbare morons though, and unwilling to accept new facts.

The thing I don't get is, there are a TON of influences that have vested interest in shaping public opinion. Even discounting the private globalist controlled MSM channels who obviously wanted Hillary, you have a ton of other foreign interests from Israel, to Saudi Arabia, to Iran, to China, etc.

The entire Russian narrative boils down to the one phishing scam and wikileaks dump of Podestas email

The amount of mileage that is being squeezed out of it is indicative of larger geo-political plays with that being used as cover.

Not only that, but we have been hacked and have been hacked by nation states and rogue hackers in the past.
This goes hand in hand with the fake news narrative even as the WaPo and Guardian have had to retract 2 or 3 articles in the past week or so.

Dude, they said the Russian interference was RT! Big fucking surprise!

More things are listed, but I agree the report is extremely weak with regard to the DNC mails.

What about the collusion between CNN and the Clinton campaign?

1) domestic
2) not focus of report
3) whataboutism

What is a youbare moron?

And what facts were presented in this? That RT is owned by the Russians? I already knew that!

I can't really bring myself to care about this. How many leaders were outspoken and critical of Trump in the public forum? A lot. How many people made a living digging up dirt in Trump? A lot. Russia just did a better job.

All of the corruption and lying exposed in this election- the public needed to see this.

Trust Papa Putin. He just wants what's best for America...

Yeah the internationally coordinated fake news narrative is related, for sure.

It just pisses me off.

What if you found out Merkel was conspiring with a Muslim TV outlet to overthrow Germany and turn it into an Islamic State and someone (unknown) exposed it and the blame got placed on BBC and England?

Obvious diversion is obvious.

If people could distinguish between conspiracy nutters and large communities of experts, then sherdog would be a very different place.
Your sarcasms misses its mark when that community of experts you're talking about is comprised of spies.

Maybe they're telling the truth, maybe they're not.

They should have thought about their credibility when they lied about the Gulf of Tonkin and Iraqi WMDs, getting us into Vietnam and Iraq -- resulting in the deaths of 70,000 American troops and the wounding of over half a million.

We simply don't know -- and won't know -- if they're lying or not. It's very reassuring to me to hear that Trump is skeptical about our corrupt intelligence agencies. Maybe he won't be bullied around by them like past presidents have been.

No I am not.

First of all its closer to 15 pages than 25 pages due to blank pages, half-pages, pictures, and a gigantic YouTube graph, formatting.
Secondly, all but 2 pages are dedicated to RT. There is nothing substantial in this report at all.
My god you are crooked. Annex A is the part that discusses what RT is and a bit about what they did. That's not even the main part of the report. The report details how Russia was behind the hacking, how Russia spread the information to various other sources, and how they used RT to distribute the propaganda as well.

I love it that someone who hates America so much is a trusted source of truth.
Love, in the sense that it's disgraceful
It's disgraceful that the Russians interfered with our election less than our own media.

It's more of a shame people like you are unwilling to accept that fact.

(This is based on the evidence as it stands now, and is subject to change with more information.)

It sounds like they did us a favor. You're seriously mad at someone for leaking corruption? Wow. How about you be mad at the corruption instead? Also, if this is information is harmful to national security, why was the DNC storing it on their servers and why didn't they tell the FBI about the dangerous-to-national-security information (screwing Sanders, leaking debate questions, media plants, etc) that they had?

Separate issues, and I've never said anything positive about the weak ass media issue. Change your post based on this information.

1. Then they shouldn't expect people to believe them if they can't provide the evidence. Maybe it's time to just go ahead and do whatever people think should be done in response. Which is what exactly? Expel the diplomats and wag our national finger sufficient or is there more to come?

2. @IDL isn't a proven liar like James Clapper. Since he's still got a job I've little faith he's an anomaly.

1. Ban and punish RT and the Americans in collusion with it. Expel the diplomats. New legislation creating an agency to be a watchdog against this type of thing in the future. Block Wikileaks. Put that snake Assange in a cell or in a grave.

No, I mean if there is any actual evidence about Russian hacking I'll update my paradigm. Until then, you're fucking wrong.

The main part of the report is the same gibberish they've been spouting since day 1. 13 of 15 real pages are dedicated to RT.
There is no reason to release this report if its just to make their RT narrative look all offiiclal-like. This is so clowns like yourself can say "look, an official report"!

The bottom line is this; if their is proof that Putin gave direct orders to interfere with our election and that proof is so top secret that it cannot be revealed then people are forced to be skeptical.
Unless you're the type of person who believes what every spy tells you and accuses those who don't believe of being traitors.

edit: not annex A.
