I think if we decided to drop some area 51 advanced emp on Russia and china were they couldn't employ their nuclear forces we'd win what say you?

mind you the Uniteds States spends more money on their DISCLOSED defense budget than the Rest of the worlds countries combined.

example our Marine Corps is a combined total force with an air force and a Navy. if there was a total war scenario disregarding collateral damage and human rights I believe our Marine Corps Air Ground task force could defeat France and the United Kingdom.

add the other Branches into it and we could rule the world thoughts?

I know that Americans are very proud of their military and their detractors like to point out they haven't outright won a war since WW2. I think the idea of winning/losing in war is getting outdated, it's all about the political maneuvering before and during the war so you have international support.

Wouldn't the whole rest of the world just focus their efforts on insurgency and guerrilla tactics by attacking our weak spots, hit and run, disrupt our supply lines, try to bankrupt us and just make our lives miserable? As Bin Laden said, death by a thousand papercuts. We would really have to take the gloves off. It would have to be like Desert Storm, divide areas into grids and assign each grid to unit with the order to kill everything in their grid.

It's gonna be a stalemate.

The rest of the world doesn't have the military ability for expeditionary warfare besides the U.S. as the U.S. will be in control much of the oceans since it takes years to build ever an aircraft carrier.

U.S. would fuck up any hostile forces in North America quickly since the rest of the world wouldn't be able to supply their forces in time against a top tier armed forces. U.S.'s priority will be securing oil reserves in North and South America in order to feed the war machine. No one wins this as the U.S. won't invade the Europe, Asia, Africa...etc. Too far of a reach.
