Dude has excellent footwork unlike most HWs and has elite cardio and chin.

He’d potentially lose to someone who can submit him but not many HWs are submission or wrestlers

He'd be taken down and mauled.

One leg kick and he dies.

Can we stop with this "Athlete who has never actually trained for MMA would dominate if he had prepared since childhood" nonsense?

that fatty with his shorts pulled up over his tits? lol. gtfo with this silliness.

A fighter like Mir or Barnett would sub him without much trouble.

I'd have been a fuckin Ninja if I wasn't a Boy Scout..

I hope Tyson ruins Wilder so Wilder can come into MMA. He has a better style for MMA than Fury. Wilder bulked up a lot and only weighs 230. He can do LHW or HW. There are only one or two wrestlers in those divisions. They can hide him away from them while working for a title shot.

Fury is an incredible boxer and probably the best heavyweight on the planet right now. However, his skills just wouldn't translate to mma at all well in my opinion. He lacks one punch power so wouldn't provide a massive threat on the feet and he would get taken down at will by just about every heavyweight in the UFC. If a fighter was daft enough to keep it standing with him then yeah he'd be in with a shot but then he doesn't have the power to finish it with one shot so the moment the fighter decides he's had enough of the stand-up he'd take him straight down.

I think anyone in heavyweight would out grapple, and out kickbox him. Boxing has a lot of key differences.

Come on, mate, you've been around since 2007. I expect these sorts of threads from Johnny-come-lately Whitebelts, but you...?

So many MMA fans in denial when realistically he could come in and beat up the c and d level athletes fighting at HW.

If Jake Paul has the power to knock out UFC fighters with one punch, I'm pretty sure Tyson Fury could too.

If they stick their chins out like Askren, of course.

Going from boxing to MMA is incredibly hard. The stance is wrong, all your boxing habits are wrong when you do MMA. I don't even know if a guy like Fury who has spent decades on fine tuning his style to almost perfection for boxing can change his style that massively at all.

They are two massively different sports that look similar in some aspects but aren't.
