This is the fight to make next. Woodley in no way whatsoever deserves a title shot next. He is only on a two fight winning streak with his last loss being an unimpressive split decision over an out of shape Kelvin Gastelum.
Magny more than deserves this matchup after his win over Lombard and it would put the winner near the top of the queue for a title shot.
In my opinion Magny beats the brakes off of Woodley with Woodley's only chance being a first round KO that most likely wouldn't happen. Woodley doesn't have the cardio or striking to keep up with Magny for long.

Can't fathom how Woodley thinks he's the most deserving with a 2 fight win streak over DHK & Gastelum.

Maia deserves a number one contender shot against Woodley more than Magney.

Mate, are you being serious?

You honestly think Neil Magny would "beat the brakes" off Woodley? You obviously have no clue how good Tyron is. Woodley would knock Magny into next week, he also could completely smother him on the ground.

I don't want to see it. Personally.

Magny def needs a big fight. Depending on what happens when Nick returns ID say some interesting fights at ww

I was looking at the division and thinking about what could or should be on UFC 200 and this is a fight I thought about.

No way Woodley should get a title shot, and this is an appropriate big fight for Magny. Winner of this fight will be in the running for next shot with the Maia/Brown winner, but behind the Wonderboy/Rory winner.

That would be an awesome fight. Woodley might need a fight before Magny is ready but I'd love to see it. If Magny is ready before Nick, then I would choose Magny but Nick v Woodley would also interest me.

This fight makes sense for Magny but not so much for Woodley. Woodley goes from knocking right at the door for a title shot (which I don't think he deserves anyway) to fighting someone who isn't even in the title shot picture yet but will come knocking soon.

I get the feeling the UFC won't let Tyron Woodley near the title for some reason, not sure if it is merely political or what. I also echo the sentiment that he's not exactly deserving of a title shot coming off wins over DHK and Gastelum.

Weren't you that white cuck who tried to "brag" about growing up with black people.

10:1 odds you were the bitch in any "group" you were in. Probably used for money and weed, which you gave up willingly to be "down"

If we were doing titleshots on merit
Wonderboy
Maia
Magny
Tyron

My personal bias I want a Condit rematch, however he didn't earn his titlefight in the first place.

I've never been impressed with Tyron his best win is Condit and it was made moot by Rory absolutely tooling him. DHK is a good win but DHK was rocked by Burkman and I personally think he's too highly ranked. Also Gastelum was sick when they fought on top of that it was a split decision (also a bad fight). Tyron doesn't deserve it, but does deserve a number 1 contenders fight.

Yeah, Woodley is a perennial top ten, but he'll never be champ if you ask me. I think Magny handles him pretty convincingly. That reach advantage will matter tons in this fight, and even though he looks the part, Woodley isn't packing the power that, say, Lombard is.

They should postpone all WW fights and make 200 an all WW event including a title fight (but not the Diaz/Mcgegor fight)!

Craziness aside, a Magny-Woodley fight would not be too unreasonable if the UFC had a better ranking system. A few years ago I posted an outline for a pyramid design for rankings and fight options.

The champ is at the top, the next level has 2 people, 3 at the third and so on.

This creates tiers of fighters and would allow for a multitude of fight combinations which would also result in a definitive ranking (even if only by tiers). It would work best if fights could be made by anybody within 2 tiers of another; tier #4 could fight a tier #3 or #2 upwards or by #5/6 below. You win, you switch places.

Better yet, the UFC could attach salaries based on tiers. No need for a guy who is winning but has a multi-fight low paying contract to get paid way less than the guy he fights. Backroom payouts would still take place so however the UFC wants to reward fighters is good.

this is the fight they should do next, I thought the same thing. Magny would beat Woodley I think

Woodley vs Nick would have a good chance of being boring, Brown vs Nick is the fight to make whether he wins or loses against Maia

He also said vitor was overrated and ran away when I pointed out his argument was BS.

Woodley probably tweeted that he deserves and is gonna wait for a TS the minute the fight ended.Maia vs. Woodley and Magny vs. Hendricks next.

I like the T-Wood Magny fight but I don't think Woodley will accept it. The guy is happy to sit out and wait for a title shot that is never going to happen.
