Tyron Woodley Potentially Cut???

He deserves another chance considering his lost to the top 3 guys of the division but at the same time, he was absolutely dominated in all three of those bouts, literally didn't win a single round. He looks mentally defeated...similar fate to Rashad, looks physically like he could beat a few guys but his mind is shot as a fighter, I doubt he needs the money so why is he still doing it ? He always come across as more of an athlete than a fighter, each time he was faced resistance he was a deer in the headlights so I don't think he is doing it for the love of it, but probably doesn't know what else he could do. It's a difficult cross road that many former high level pro's or champions face.

Dunno about barely lose the war in Woodley's case he got his ass handed to him by Usman, Burns and Colby in succession. Other posters have provided evidence that he's not getting cut but I'd say 2 more one sided losses and he'll be gone.

PFL might, former champion and all, One and Bellator would likely have some interest too imo. PFL's likely his best option but he's not cut yet.
 
He had a good run. Just seemed to lose some speed and power these last few years. Looking forward to the next album!

He does kinda need the money. He blew all his money at first
 
I think it's almost inevitable that Woodley gets cut.

Dana White really really strongly dislikes Woodley. I ever remember some article or report that multiple UFC staff had (allegedly) referred o Woodley as "that m*therf*cker". So if there was a Sportsbook bet that Woodley has been cut or is about to be cut....i'd for sure put some Vcash on that.

Any fighter that is HIGHLY paid, been around a long time and is not going to be in with any chance of a belt anymore is at risk.
There's gonna be some big names chopped for sure. UFC trying to reduce the Average fighter salary I think to in some way compensate for 2020 lack of gate money and LIKELY most of 2021 same thing.... no crowds....loss of revenue etc.

I'd be amazed if Woodley was *not* cut at this point.
 
If he'd actually been released by the UFC some outlet would've picked up on it by now. He probably just cut another hilariously bad "music" track.

Can't say I'm surprised given his relationship with Dana White and his inability to produce many exciting fights lately. But I think people give him too much shit for a 3-fight skid that is to three killers.
