Two Russia/Trump stories break tonight.

An attorney would have a field day on that 'question and answer'. Was he specifically answering with respect to the 'report' that has been discredited? Was he speaking about any and all contacts with Russians irrespective of the content of the discussions? Was he specifically referring to conversations relating to influencing of the election? What was the intent of Sessions reply relative to his interpretation of the question?

In such a short Q&A there are such major discrepancies relative to the question, it's interpretation and the reply given. To quote everyone's favorite prez, "depends what the definition of 'is', is."

Diplomats talk to people in foreign government on behalf of their country. That is literally their job description. Since the Democrats were in power during his entire time in Washington (up until 6 weeks ago), it's not surprising that he has a lot of contacts with Democrats.

The issue isn't talking to the Russian ambassador. The issue is talking to the Russian ambassador amidst allegations of Russian interference in the election, and then lying about it when specifically questioned on the subject.

as I said before, much ado about NOTHING .. if it's such a big deal interacting with the russian ambassador amidst allegations of russian interference then you should be 'outraged' that he's cozing up with all the democrats .. wtf are they doing hanging out and shootin the shit with him ? .. shouldn't they be deporting him ? .. they seem to be just fine with the enemy they're chiding trump and co over ..

this is all a witch hunt on trump ..much ado about NOTHING .. so much shit to focus on and they're making a stink about this .. gtfo .. they've been going at it since he won the election .. they want trump OUT and they're gonna keep throwing shit at the wall in hopes something sticks .. nothing more nothing less .. oh and yeah, they WILL FAIL

Spin that.

The interview he says he has no relationship with Putin was from 2016; the interview he says he has a relationship with Putin was from November 2013, where in the CPAC speech from March 2014 he mentions that he was in Moscow for the Miss Universe pageant months prior and Putin sent him a nice present, but never actually met with him. That is the extent of their "relationship".

Here's some more news. When sessions went to Cleveland and met with the Russian ambassador he used his own campaign funds to pay for it. Why is that interesting? Because the excuse that's given is that he met to talk to him because hes a senator and its part of his job and not as part of the trump campaign. If he went to Cleveland to talk to the ambassador he should have used senate funds because he was there to do Senate related business

In the course of the campaign was the question meaning related to the campaign And if your that fucking stupid to see that the people leaking the shit are Obama hold overs then your a hopeless cuck.

For one you don't know who leaked what. Second, the question was about anyone involved in the campaign, which Session's was at the time. It was not about if anything was said about the campaign or not.

You mean he went to the Republic National Convention and spoke at a conference with 50 some odd ambassadors, one of which included the Russian ambassador, which he spoke from his capacity as a senator... he didn't go to Cleveland to meet and talk with the Russian ambassador specifically and their encounter was just spontaneous.

They expelled 35 Russian diplomats if you will recall. It's not like they haven't already taken pretty severe steps.

We'll see I guess.

he clearly spoke at the heritage event as a trump rep. did he take off his maga hat and put his senate hat back on when he spoke with the ambassador? this is all going by sessions word. one his aides, jd gordon met with the ambassador too. the one who got the ukraine language written out of the rnc platform. one he says he was told to do by trump.

good for them so why are they mingling and chatting it up with this ambassador they're calling a 'spy' lol .. while they simultaneously scold trump's admin for talking to him .. this isn't about talking to the ambassador or sessions 'lying' ..

The point is he didn't fly to Cleveland just to speak to the Russian ambassador as is being intended to mislead, and while there, he is not suddenly no longer a senator. He can play both roles, and speak on matters regarding his primary position.

so he lied when he said he didnt meet him as part of the trump campaign. he clearly was there as a political figure. his campaign funds say so.

His interaction with the Russian ambassador occurred after his speech was finished, and he was just one of the individuals he mingled with afterwards.

Nah man, he was just flying around on campaign funds and campaigning for Trump as part of his official Senate duties. Obviously. This was all implied when he said "No".

all this splitting hairs is fucking annoying and distracting led by a partisan bloc of dems.
everyone should just focus on advancing the country's agenda.

its looking more and more like Trump has had deals with Russia. so excited to see how this plays out

It doesn't help his excuse, and definitely doesn't help his credibility or his standing with decent Republicans..

This just in Russian fleet heads for Alaska invasion coming!
