The student's father seems to have revealed in the message widely circulated on media that he left the university after facing alleged racism and police mistreatment.

Genesis Perry explained that he often called home reporting incidents of racial abuse. He said that white students would ride around campus, throw trash at him and his friends, and call them racial slurs.

Autopsy released. Ruled a suicide. Toxicology still 2-4 weeks out. Family still pursuing private investigation. Not much has changed

"Mississippi" 21 year old college student likely a senior in college doesn't fit the mold? The homeless man unlikely too but was in the wrong place at the time? I known in Alabama pickups with guys in the back would follow blacks out of the state as they drove.
