I know it's not a big deal, but that's crazy. I just rewatched it and both times it was a 30-27 clear as day. The announcers knew it, Pettis knew it, his corner knew it.

When the third round started, the stats showed Barboza had double the significant strikes as Pettis, he also landed the clearly harder shots. but somehow it was 1-1? Imagine if Pettis edged the third, he would have won a SD. that would have been robbery.

Yeah...idk.

It seemed like Pettis was winning the second round in the beginning to me, but Edson came back and took it as the round progressed.

Just glad the right decision was made

I scored all 3 in favour of Barboza. Pettis maybe won 20 seconds of the whole fight.

I tell you guys what! Whenever there is a controversy about a fight just look at the UFC round by round scores of the Sherdog scorers! They're the best and most honest! Out of the dozens of controversial fights where I thought the other guy won the Sherdog team and me are in agreement! Just one quick example! Do you remember that awful hometown decision in New Mexico for Diego Sanchez over Ross Pearson, well Sherdog had it like me, Ross Pearson unanimous decision! The Sherdog scorers are the most accurate, for sure!

That's how weird our scoring system is. Dead even, 1-1 going into the final round. It did not remotely feel like a tie at that point.

My friend also scored round 2 for Anthony, said he thought he was busier.

I personally had it 30-27, but if any round was Pettis' is was round 2.

For me, a pretty clear 3-0 win.

Pettis seems to be fighting against himself now like Rashad said about himself. I think maybe he believed his own hype a little bit and RDA just kinda broke him. :/ I thought the move to Jacksons would help a lot, but he seemed to be the same old Pettis. I still have faith he will make a comeback. Maybe at 145..

I personally thought Pettis edged out the second. It was hard to be objective though with Rogan literally ooohing and aweing everytime Barboza threw something.

I scored round 2 for Pettis. He was able to turn it up more and was able to move in and out of Barbozas range effectively. Which is why Barboza started those heavy leg kicks in round 3.

I guess that is a great example of why they say don't leave it in the judges hands. I guess if Bisping beat Hamill the second round to Pettis doesn't surprise me either.

What happened to Pettis? He lost all three rounds....I hardly recognize the guy they call Showtime.

He was impossible to contain.....but look at him now.....

it was 3-0 Barboza.
Crooked ass judges tried to pull a fast one.

That would only make sense though if Edson didn't land you far harder, cleaner shots. In addition to volume being the same you know?

That's a valid point. I had all 3 rounds for Barboza too but I just don't think he was necessarily robbed of a round. Especially when we have a better view of the fight through multiple camera angles as opposed to being cage side. It's not always as clear what strike lands cleanly.

First time around I scored 1-barboza 2-pettis 3-barboza

upon second watch it was all Barboza

Pettis got that second round because of his name and that's it.
