Health Two exercise related questions...

Different kinds of push-ups, different kinds of pull-ups, different kinds of sit-ups, planks.

That's all one needs pretty much.

All one would need is a horizontal bar. And a floor.

P.s. Do some yoga asanas. Incredible thing.

Tbh, I think it'll end up being some clothing hanger.

Why just not run/jog/walk outside?

Same thing.

Unless, one is extremely disciplined, 9/10 times treadmill or stationary bike end up taking up space and being used to hang some clothes.

I did this with my kettlebell. I find it awkward to start my exercises at home. I'd go to the gym more, though I have other issues.

Treadmill I guess.

I think that a treadmill would feel awkward in my flat. I do use a treadmill at the gym and I have an outside route as well, though it's very muddy at the moment.

I'm just looking for one thing, full body, for the purpose of losing weight, whilst increasing cardio and keeping strong. Rowing Machine is top of the list for me so far.

Fair enough.

A rowing machine is a great idea.

#1 weight regulator is your calories intake.

Exercise is great, but diet influences your weight more.

Also, get some good sleep. When not sleeping well, one's cortisol levels go up, and it fucks up the metabolism.

IMO an Assault bike is better than a rowing machine since it uses push/pull upper body muscles. The rowing machine is a close second, though. Also throwing in a pair of adjustable dumbbells for isolation and targeted muscle group exercises would be good to round things out.

I like this guy, since I dont have much room anymore. Put it in front of the tv or whatever, and just do hangs, leg raises, pull ups, and dips. Too unstable and not enough height left for muscle-ups, but that not important at the start or anything. Oh, it’s cheap too. That’s great.

I'll bet over the past 5 years, I've thrown away at least 200 pieces of exercise equipment. Treadmills, rowing machines, exercise bikes, free weights, bells, (I only ever keep the iron), benches, bars (I kept about a half-dozen or so). People never disassemble that shit and take it with them.

Cut out salt and sugars out of your diet, don't eat after 6pm. Light weights, resistance bands, lots of reps. Swim. You can get to where you want without equipment, but I'd think a rowing machine would be best.

I'd really like one of these. I do use them at the gym, but I do chin ups over pull ups.

That’s good. I love these things, and they are not expensive. I mix them up. I sometimes start feeling weird pain on my elbow doing too much of one type. Chin ups are definitely harder on it than pull ups.

Yeah rack is a must if building a home gym. It’s one of the 1st pieces of equipment I bought when building mine. I have a cable machine too. Those were my top priorities in the beginning.

Sometimes its too hot/cold outside to want to do cardio.

When its sitting in the lounge room behind the couch, a couple of metres away, its pretty damn difficult to find a reason not to use them.
