I just reset the Smart Hub and it says I have the most up to date software. I bought it brand new in late 2017...not sure what year it was actually made.

If you bought it in a store it could be as old as 2015. In which case, throw it out the window. It's cooked.

LG have FAR more problems with keeping their software current and quality control with hardware.

Haha the actually TV works great so I’m not going to go that far yet.

If the AppleTv also doesn't work, I'd suspect something in the system - cables, AV receiver etc. With my AppleTv 4k, I couldn't get a picture with the HDMI cables I originally ran thru the wall. Not compatible with Dolbyvision. I replaced the cables from the AppleTv to the receiver and the receiver to my OLED and it worked like a charm.

Hmm... my parents have a Samsung and their smart features haven't worked in years. I've had 3 LGs over the course of 8 years which are ALWAYS up to date and working.
