No it didn't. It looked like shit.

I gave up on that show pretty early, it was terrible.

They got one scene right, though, the one where the guy lets himself fall off the building and flies away with huge bat wings.

Thomas Gibson's time on CBS' Criminal Minds has come to an end.

"Thomas Gibson has been dismissed from Criminal Minds. Creative details for how the character's exit will be addressed in the show will be announced at a later date," producers ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios said in a statement.

The dismissal follows news that the actor — who had been on the veteran procedural since its start — kicked a writer on-set. As of Thursday, Gibson was facing a two-episode suspension following the incident. His character was to be written out of both episodes with that now turning into being written out of the series on which he has starred for 11 seasons.

The incident occurred when Gibson was directing an episode of the drama's upcoming 12th season and had a dispute with the hour's writer, who also happened to be on set. Insiders say they got into an argument and tempers on both sides flared with Gibson said to have instinctively reacted to aggression and kicked the writer.

Gibson had been under contract for the ABC Studios/CBS Television Studios co-production for all of season 12. This was the second incident for Gibson with the series; he pushed another producer a few years ago and had to attend anger management classes, though he was not suspended.

Didn't realize he had a temper like that.

Well one thing you can say about starz is that they don't let you get tired of their shows lol. 4 seasons is pretty short but I guess itll tell the whole story they want.

Still want that Caesar spinoff. Would be cool to see him in Gaul +Vercingetorix.

Wow, the latest Killjoys ep was better than the latest Dark Matter.

I do not say that lightly.

I think I only got a few episodes in.

Amanda Tapping was the only thing that got me that far.

Pretty rare to hear of an actor being outright fired from a show.

Criminal Minds is still going? Fuckin' hell. Shermar already gone and now Gibson, can't see the show lasting much longer without them.

Amanda Tapping and her atrocious accent? You'd think someone from here could do a better job... Mind, she was never much of an actress and was too old to be the great eye candy she'd been on Stargate.

Robert Downey Jr. Teaming Up with True Detective Creator for PERRY MASON on HBO

Robert Downey Jr. may be on the list of feature stars turning (or in his case, returning) to the small screen.

The Iron Man star is teaming with True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto for a drama at HBO. Details about the project are being kept under wraps and it's unclear if there are any official deals as of yet, but Pizzolatto will pen the script and Downey will star.

Sources say the project may be based on Downey's long-gestating Perry Mason reboot, which rather than a Warner Bros. Pictures feature is now being eyed for the small screen with Downey's wife and producing partner, Susan Downey of Team Downey, set to exec produce with the actor.

Perry Mason is a fictional criminal defense lawyer who is the main character in works of detective fiction written by Erle Stanley Gardner. The character of Perry Mason was adapted for motion pictures and a long-running radio series. These were followed by its best-known adaptation, the CBS television series Perry Mason (1957–66) starring Raymond Burr. A second television series, The New Perry Mason starring Monte Markham, ran from 1973 to 1974; and 30 Perry Mason television films ran from 1985 to 1995, with Burr reprising the role of Mason in 26 of them prior to his death in 1993.

As for the actual episode, it was a nice showcase for Five and her resourcefulness. She has become a valuable member to the team.

Didn't Perry Mason already get a very short-lived reboot? Or was that Ironside? Damn that Raymond Burr having more than one iconic role...

Ironside with Blair Underwood. I was one of the few people that watched it.

Marvel and Hulu Announce RUNAWAYS Television Series

Marvel is expanding its TV footprint to Hulu. The streaming service has handed out a pilot and full-season script order for Marvel comic series Runaways, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

From Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the potential project is based on Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man) and Adrian Alphona's series. It centers on a group of teens who discover that their parents are part of an evil crime organization.

Runaways, written by Schwartz and Savage, will center on six diverse teens who can barely stand each other but who unite to fight a common foe: their parents.

The drama hails from Marvel Television, ABC Signature — ABC Studios' cable-focused arm — and Schwartz and Savage's studio-based Fake Empire. Schwartz and Savage will serve as showrunners and exec produce alongside Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory and Fake Empire's Lis Rowinski.

For Marvel, should Runaways go to series, it would join ABC's Agents of SHIELD and multiple dramas at Netflix, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher and comes as the comic book giant recently bid farewell to ABC's Agent Carter. Also in the works are Fox's X-Men take and FX's Legion, the latter of which has already been picked up to series.

THE LAST SHIP

Another great turn-of-events for the series. So exciting. The China-Asia part of the story was always good but now things are equally riveting in what's happening back in the States.

Whether she's fluently speaking in 12 languages or holding a rifle or wearing her uniform, Bridget Regan is awesome.

Be nice if they weren't spreading the shows over multiple places.
